Tie Rod Hydraulic Cylinder

OVERVIEW

A tie-rod cylinder uses the threaded steel rods to hold two end caps to the ends of the cylinder barrel. A strong advantage of the tie rod design is that it can be easily disassembled & examined for repair.

MILL TYPE BOLTING Hydraulic Cylinder

MILL TYPE- BOLTING & BOLTING

These types of cylinders have end flanges welded or threaded to the barrel and the end caps are attached to each flange. End caps are secured in place by bolts that go through holes in each end cap and thread into tapped holes in each end flange.

This construction is lighter and more compact than the standard tie-rod type.
