Liquid glucose also known as glucose syrup is a fundamental ingredient in many food and industrial products. Maltodextrin is a polysaccharide that is used as a food additive. Maltodextrin Powder is produced by enzymatic hydrolysis of starch, It is a fine white powder produced by spray drying partially hydrolyzed starch, it has a dextrose equivalent (DE) of 10-25%.

Advantages : Maltodextrin is a complex carbohydrate combination that provides long-lasting energy. Maltodextrin powder has a rapid rate of digestion, allowing it to supply additional calories without causing the abdominal discomfort that can be experienced with simple sugars. Usages :

• Sweetener - In Indian sweets it is used to at the time of making of Khoya/Mawa from milk as it improves the quality, softness and texture. It is widely used in teas, coffee and powdered soft drink also.
• Food Additive - Maltodextrine is the simplest form of sugar, it has property of a soft mouth-feel and is easily digested. This property gives it extensive use in baby foods, feed supplements, geriatric foods and foods for convalescents.

Rice Gluten is a By-Product of rice, prepared by centrifuging, filtering and drying of the slurry received from the primary and secondary stages of refining. It contains high protein, amino acids, vitamins making it high density nutritive product.

Advantages : It can be ideally used as a primary feed, not just because it is hypo-allergenic, but also due to its low slag content. Excellent source of highly digestible protein.
