EPDM is a Co-Polymer of Ethylene and Propylene and is mostly used in Brake systems having Glycol based Fluids. Hot Water and Steam, Glycol based brake fluids, Organic And Inorganic Acids, Phosphate Ester Based Fluids, Soda, Potassium, Silicon Oil and Grease, Ozone, Aging and Weather resistant.

Backup Rings prevent extrusion of O Rings In high pressures usually above 1500 PSI & compensate for loose fitting components. If only one backup ring is used, the O Ring should be placed between the pressure source & the backup ring. One backup ring should be used on each side of the O Ring in double acting assemblies if possible two backups should be used even in single acting assemblies.

Orings are torus or doughnut shaped rings defined by their Inner Diameter (I.D) & 'Cross Section' (C.S), ISG provides quality 'O' Rings from as small as 0.74MM (I.D) to 1800MM (I.D) giant size without joints (Die Made) in all elastomers.O Rings are manufactured according to various International Standards viz.
