Intrans CSS consists of Oil filled Transformer with HT and LT switchgear. The transformer is of Corrugated tank type of construction and Hermetically sealed. High Tension side of the CSS consists of Load Break Switch or Vacuum Circuit Breaker as required. On the Low voltage side ACB and MCCBs are provided as per the customer specification. The Compact Sub Station is available for indoor use as well as Outdoor.

We manufacture lower range of Cast Resin Transformers (CRT) both single as well as three phase, ranging from 16 KVA to 1000 KVA capacity. Our Cast Resin Transformers are designed effectively to reduce line cost and line losses and improve the quality and reliability of the electrical supply system.The transformers can be made suitable for direct pole mounting, indoor application, hazardous area application etc. These are capable of withstanding mechanical and thermal stresses caused by short circuiting in accordance with Bureau of Indian Standards Specification 11171

INTRANS Transformers are made by using modern Computer Aided Design and reliable process technology. Quality Control procedures are devised and strictly adhered to ensure quality in every stages of manufacture i.e., from the very stages of raw material purchases to final delivery. The designs are chosen so that the total cost including material cost, maintenance cost and the energy cost due to no load and load losses are minimum. The designing and manufacturing operations are guided and controlled by experts in the field. All the above factors ensure that transformer coming out of Intrans plant is optimum designed, reliable and rugged.

In AC circuits, for measuring large voltages a specially constructed accurate ratio Potential Transformers are used. Their function is to reduce the supply Voltage to a value small enough to be easily measured with standard low range AC instruments of moderate size and capacity. The advantages of using Potential Transformers for range extension of AC meters are many fold.

Resin Cast current Transformers are dry type transformers the active part of which is completely embedded in quartz loaded epoxy resin by using Vacuum moulding technique. After moulding the resin is hardened by polymerisation. The main insulation between primary and secondary and earth is obtained by this epoxy resin and hence CTs have a lot of technical advantages.

Low Tension Current Transformers are used for measurement andor protective applications in 660V Class. In Measuring Current Transformers (Refer TABLE- 1) main concern is the accuracy of the secondary current over a wide operating range. Typically the errors are guaranteed to be within specified limits. The nature of errors are current (Ratio) error and phase displacement. Metering current transformers are specified by (1) a burden and (2) accuracy class. Protective Current transformers (Refer TABLE-II) are specified by (1) a burden (2) accuracy class and (3) accuracy limiting factor. In other words the errors of the protective current transformers at the rated full loaded current as well as at a current given by the accuracy limit factor times the full load current are specified. There exists a class of protective current transformers for special purpose application known as class PS CTs. These are mainly intended for use in applications where the required characteristics of the current transformers cannot be conveniently expressed in terms used for class 5P, 10P and 15P current transformers. The knee point voltage, exciting current and secondary winding resistance are so dependent on the protective gear involved. The manufacturers of protection gear stipulates the requirements in terms of minimum knee point voltage and maximum exciting current. The current transformers of class PS type are of low reactance type since the core is made up of jointless ring type (spirally wound toroidal type) cores and secondary turns are substantially evenly distributed along the whole length of the magnetic circuit.
