Circular Motion Vibrating Screens

support structure from vibrating masses and virtually noiseless operation.

The various versions of this type of Vibro Screens permit its use for wet and dry screening, coarse and fine separations and are widely used in steel mills, mineral beneficiation plants, chemical, mining, food and fertilizer industries, coal preparation plants and many others.

The main characteristic is OPERATIONAL RELIABILITY to suit the widest possible range of precise requirements.

The box shaped screen body can be fitted with almost any type of screen mat - of steel, rubber or plastic with provision for transverse, plane or longitudinal tensioning.

The steep angle of throw prevents mesh blinding, which permits maximum screening efficiency. The operating speed range normally varies between 1000 - 1500 rpm.

The screening machine is driven directly through a cardan shaft. The vibrating element is a through shaft, mounted in the two screen webs and fitted with unbalance segments. All clamping parts and screen mats are easily changed.

The design features high acceleration on the deck surface which permits handling of difficult-to-screen materials. The centrifugal force exciter unit is mounted on special vibration duty bearings that are grease lubricated and require minimum maintenance.

Available in single and double deck versions, the size range includes machines up to 2.5 m wide x 6.5 m long. Capacity range up to 1200 tons per hour depending upon separation size and material characteristics.

Flip Flop Screening Machines

The Flip Flop screens offers a totally new solution for extremely difficult-to-screen materials with excellent screening efficiency in smaller aperture applications where conventional screens suffer from blinding and pegging.

The Flip-Flop Screening Machine generates, through a mechanism, a system of dual control whereby a high acceleration is transmitted to the panels of the Screen Mats of the order of around 40-50g. The eccentric rotor mechanism generates a continuous and flexible movement of the elastic Screen Mats, with the panels alternatively stretched and relaxed.

The high acceleration completely loosens up the damp sticky material mass, resulting in rapid stratification of the feed material and high percentage of fines quickly move down to the surface of the Screen Deck and are screened out.

Soft rubber mounting blocks isolate the majority of the dynamic loads of the oscillating mechanism.

The flexible screen deck are manufactured from Polyurethane or Rubber having square or slotted aperture openings in various sizes which are selected depending upon material to be screened.

Machiene Sizes upto2.5m wide and 7.9m long.

The unique drive movement ensures:

  • Efficient screening with no binding
  • High screening efficiency even near Mesh particles

Mechanical Air Separator

Built in 11 commercial sizes ranging from 4 feet to 24 feet in diameter, as well as a 30 inch unit for small capacities and test run. a special 10 inch laboratory separator completes the Raymond line, and is a useful machine for handling small lots of materials in experimental works. on many material finished product with a high percentage passing 15 to 20 microns can be obtained without difficulty.

Advantages

  • Produce materials with high uniform fineness.
  • Operate in open or closed circuit.
  • Excellent for de-dusting.
  • can provide drying and cooling. Faster separation of fines and more positive rejection of oversize.

Single whizzer separator

has one bank of whizzer blades and used for coarser separations upto approximately 85% to 90% passing 200 mesh

double whizzer separator

with two banks of whizzer blades, they can produce finished materials upto 99% to 99.5% passing 325 mesh.

Application in closed circuit grinding

When operated in closed circuit combination with pulverizer , ball or tube mills the separator skims off the fines rapidly so the mill works only on fresh material without wasting power. Mogensen Vibro Bar Sizers

The Vibro-Barsizer really works because of its effective blockage-free design principle. It separates difficult-to-screen and heavily polluted materials reliably, including bulky and irregularly shaped particles. Very effective with greasy, sticky and wet materials. Textiles, fibres and plastics in the product stream pose no problems.

The linear vibration of the Vibro-Barsizer and the bars fixed at only one end help ensure a fully trouble-free separation. The bar decks are mostly arranged in multiple cascade- like steps.

The material is turned around and opened up as it falls from one step to another. Pegging and blockages are positively avoided.

Driven by two maintenance-free and quiet vibrator motors or Direct Force Exciters the Mogensen Vibro-Barsizer can additionally be equipped with mesh panels to meet special requirements.

Mogensen Sizers

The complete range of Mogensen Sizers are offered including specialised accessories. Also included in the range are Flip Flop Screening Machines as well as the new Sizer 2000 especially suitable for very fine screening applications.Mogensen screening machines are offered on a made-to-measure basis offering intelligent solutions. The product range offers a very wide selection for fine screening - from approximately 100 mic. and for coarse separations up to 5 mm.

3 to 6 progressively inclined screen decks with progressively finer mesh apertures are arranged in a functional and compact manner in the vibrating screen frame. Because of the inclination in the meshes the screening effect and thereby the separation size are appreciably smaller than the apertures in the mesh panels. This drastically reduces the risk of pegging and increases the capacity considerably because the coarse-mesh system induces a dispersed material flow without the build-up of a bed of material. Residence time in the machine is short. The processed material falls vertically and rapidly through the Sizer whereby coarse particles are removed early in the screening process from the required product stream. Wear and tear on the finer lower decks is greatly reduced.

Spiralling Belt Elevators

The Spiralling Belt Elevator moves bulk solids continuously through horizontal and vertical stretches with no points of transfer.

Motor speed, material feed, and straight belt run are monitored by safety devices. The elevator is fed horizontally by a continuous conveyor. In the area of transfer, any fine material particles adhering to the belt drop into a scraper conveyor and are fed back as spillage to the main flow by a circuit conveyor.

The vertical handling section consists of the rubber belt with corrugated side walls and "flights'. This vertical section of the elevator can be slewed in the direction of discharge. Slewing through 135C to either side is possible while moving. A control unit ensures accurate positioning of the belt to the selected point of discharge. The material is discharged from the upper horizontal section.

Application

The Spiralling Belt Elevator can be used wherever fine-to-coarse-grained bulk solids require to be handled, horizontally and vertically, in a very confined space.

Scooping Belt Conveyers

The Scooping Belt Conveyor moves bulk solids continuously on level and inclined stretches. The webs, or flights, of the corrugated and belt scoop up the material and also prevent the flow-back of fluidising powdered material.

The totally enclosed construction ensures that there is no spillage. Material adhering to the belt and moved beyond the point of discharge, immediately returned by the partitions to the feed side and received back by the upper belt.

The housing of the return, and take-up units designed as a scooping trough, serves this purpose.

Application

The Scooping Belt Conveyor is preferably used to handle wet ash. lime, cement, gypsum, ground lime, wood chips, or similar, difficult-to-handle material.

Girdle Pocket Elevators

The girdle pocket elevator- elevates bulk solids continuously. The pockets are filled from inside and completely emptied inside, so that various dry materials can be handled one after the other. The gapless succession of girdle pockets prevents the loss from spillage, as this will drop without being dispersed into the pocket below.

The elevator strand as the tractive element consists of two endless, steel, -cable- reinforced rubber belts or chains with pockets attached to cross-bars arranged between them. Pocket bottoms are made of flexible, abrasion-proof rubber or metal.

The entire strand has a low dead weight, as - in the standard design - only the pocket side walls, cross-bars, and attaching elements, as well as the tension inserts of the belts are made of steel.

The strand is tensioned at the lower return unit. Drive of the girdle pocket elevator is at the top.

Application

Suitable both for fine-grained and lumpy, sharp-edged materials such as coarse and fine ores, sinter raw mix, coke, silicon carbide, corundum, chrome ore, cullet, green and reclaimed foundry sands, pellets and other soft and burnt products, burnt lime, chemical products.
