PTFE Sheets exhibit astonishing chemical resistance. PTFE is a self lubricating material that provides a low friction coefficient and is ideally suited for the manufacture of corrosion-resistant gaskets and seals. PTFE stands for PolyTetraFluoroEthylene, it is a fluorocarbon-based polymer. The Telfon brand of PTFE is manufactured only by Dupont.
Skived sheet is ideal as a slide surface, for chute liners, other kinds of liners, or for cutting or stamping into gaskets (asbestos substitute) and diaphragms, including complex stamped gasket configurations. Inseal International is one of the esteem manufacturers and exporters in Mumbai, India.
Skived Sheets are available from 0.1mm to 3.5mm Thickness. They are available from 300mm Width to 1500mm Width or long length. The material may be ordered etched for bonding on one or both sides for an additional charge (both Sodium Ammonia and Sodium Naphthalene etching are offered). Material may be ordered in long lengths as individual sheets
