VeeValv Diaphragm Valve

Diaphragm valves, manually or pneumatically operated, are specially designed for use in hygienic and aseptic processes in the food-processing and pharmaceutical industries.

The valve is excellent for flow control as well as for open/close duties.

Operating principle

The diaphragm provides the body seal as well as the seat seal. There are no paths to the outside environment and, as such, the valve is suitable for aseptic processes. When the valve is being closed, a pressure pad which supports the diaphragm moves towards the sealing face on the body. As the pressure plate moves, the diaphragm flexes and is forced down onto the seat area in the centre of the body, thus, closing off the flow path through the body.The inter-relationship of body to the pressure plate prevents over compression of the diaphragm.Thevalvecan be actuated either manually or pneumatically and controlled by control tops and solenoid valves.

NDL Diaphragm Valve

The NDL (Non Dead Leg T Valve) diaphragm valves, manually or pneumatically operated, are specially designed for use on aseptic processes in the pharmaceutical industry. The valves are widely used at points of use in the loops of purified water (PW) or water for injections (WFI).

Operating principle

The diaphragm provides the body seal as well as the seat seal. There are no paths to the outside environment and, as such, the valve is suitable for aseptic processes. When the valve is being closed, a pressure pad which supports the diaphragm moves towards the sealing face on the body. As the pressure plate moves, the diaphragm flexes and is forced down onto the seat area in the centre of the body, thus, closing off the flow path through the body.The valve can be actuated either manually or pneumatically and controlled by control units and solenoid valves.A standard diaphragm valve is used to shut the flow of a line, an NDL type valve shuts only one outlet of the main line.

PharmaValve Radial Diaphragm Valve

The Pharmavalve is a radialdiaphragm valve, manually or pneumatically operated, specially designed for critical processes where any contamination, dead leg zones or leakage are to be avoided. Thus, the valve is suitable for hygienic and aseptic processes in the pharmaceutical and bio-pharmaceutical industries as well as in clean rooms.

Operating principle

The Pharmavalve combines the features of the traditional piston valves (manually or automatically actuated) with the aseptic safety of the common diaphragm valves.Due to the axial movement of the piston, the diaphragm gets closer to the body closing or opening the valve. The valve piston is housed inside the diaphragm.The diaphragm provides double sealing of the valve that makes it more hygienic and safer.

72700 Check Valve

Acheck valve, or non return valve, is a valve that prevents the fluid from flowing backwardsand ensures that it flows in only one direction. It can be used to prevent the loss of prime ofthe pump and water hammer.

It is used in the food-processing, cosmetics, pharmaceutical and chemical industries as wellas in the beverage, wine and oil production.

Operating principle

Thecheck valveopens when the pressure of the fluid exceeds the pressure exerted by thespring. When the two pressures are compensated, the valve closes.A higher counterpressure will ensure the valve closes.
When there are two pumps operating alternately, the check valves are installed at the outletof each pump to prevent the backflow when the pump is stopped. The obturation disc isprovided with a perforation for a minimal circulation flow to avoid water stagnancy.

Valve Manifold

Manifolds of the INOXPA valves allow to centralize the functions of one or various tanks in a modular way, enhancing the efficiency of the system and control over the process.
Manifold is an automated alternative to the flexible hoses and the flow divert panels with changeover bends. The automation of the operation results in safety, flexibility and it will pay off its cost very fast.
One manifold applied to various lines allows cleaning of one tank while the other is being filled or emptied preventing any risk of product contamination.
This solution has applications in the food-processing industry, for example, in production of dairy products, juices, in breweries, as well as in the wine production, and in the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries.

Operating principle

As many valves as functions that the element has to perform are connected to the tank or working line (e.g. filling, emptying, CIP, etc.)No manual operation is required. The operation is automated, preventing any risk of accidents.

Design and features

- It consists of a matrix of valves, their quantity depends on the elements to be connected (tanks or lines), and on the functions of each of these elements. The unit is mounted in modules on a skid with adjustable legs.- The Mixproof pneumatic valves (multi-way double seal valves) prevent any leakage from one body to the other.- The valves are balanced.- Every valve is provided with a control box C-TOP with solenoid valves and sensors.- An air distribution collector is included and provided with the maintenance kit and a shut-off valve for each actuator.- The cleaning of the Mixproof valves is by Cavity Spray or Seat Lift systems.- If the Cavity Spray valves are selected, the kit also contains one collector of the cleaning distribution system for the CIP connection. This collector consists of a butterfly valve and a filter.- Under the manifold of valves and pipes there is a kind of inclined tray that collects drained products (due to leakage or cleaning process) from the manifold.- The unit is provided with a control panel, pneumatic and electric distribution system to facilitate the installation.
