Glass Fused Steel tanks (GFS) also called as Glass Lined Steel tanks(GLS) are made by fusing stainless steel and glass. A level switch is a sensor that detects the presence of liquids, powder, or granulated materials at a specific location. (It is also referred to as level sensor) For example, when a tank is supplied with liquid, it overflow. In order to prevent overflows, a level switch is to be installed different positions of the tank according to types you selected.
Side Mounted Magnetic Level Switch: Float mounted at one end of rigid rod moves with change in level, magnetic capsule at other end of rod moves accordingly within fixed limits Switch contacts across the face change accordingly.
As the tank fills up the float lifts up due to buoyancy. The other end of the float which is magnetic in nature goes down and during its downward motion, triggers the switch assembly and the contacts get closed, which can be used to operate an alarm or any other audio/visual load
As the name indicates, ultrasonic / level sensors measure distance by using ultrasonic waves. A flow switch is a mechanical instrument that is used to control the flow of air, steam or liquid. Flow switches work by sending trip signals to another device (a pump for example) within the system, telling it to shut off or to turn on, which will further protect it from damage and for cooling circuit protection. Flow switches determine if flow is above or below a certain rate, known as a set point. The set point can either be adjustable or fixed, depending on the specification of the individual instrument. When the set point is reached, the response is often the actuation of an electric circuit. Once tripped, the flow switch stays in its new state until the fall falls below the set point.
Level sensor is a device that is designed to monitor, maintain, and measure liquid (and sometimes solid) levels. Once the liquid level is detected, the sensor converts the perceived data into an electric signal. Point level sensors are designed to indicate whether a liquid has reached a specific point in a container.

Water meters are categorised in to two; Domestic and Bulk. Line size from 15mm(1/2”) to 50mm (2”) are domestic meters and large size meters are Bulk Meters. Water meters are classified as Class A, B. Class B meters are expected to have the capability of measuring at a very low flow rate, compared to class A meters. We have meters having the standards of IS 779, IS 6784, ISO4064 (Three parts), OIML R49 and EEC. Threaded ends with nipples are available up to 50mm water meters. Above 50mm, water meters are generally having flanged end connection.
For remote reading purpose, we have pulse Output facility and AMR/GPRS Meters- A technology which automatically collects metering data and transfers that data to a central database for analysis, History and Record purposes. Detailed water usage data can be collected continuously at regular intervals and can be read remotely via an automated process, with the usage data sent to the utility’s management and uniform water distribution & analysis.
