Chip Burning Unit

  • Used for removing chips produced by gears, ball-bearings, transmission lines etc. in the helicopters by using electrical power pulses automatically
  • Size and number of the chips burnt and corresponding date and time information are stored in CBUs memory throughout the flight and also displayed in the cockpit
  • Data can be downloaded to PC for analysis and maintenance, and configuration of CBU parameters can be done using PC
  • Transmits processed parameters continuously during the flight for display in the cockpit
