Nitta's PolyBelt product range is ideally suited for a wide range of textile applications applications. With strong extruded nylon (polyamide) carcasses and a wide variety of rubber covers, these belts offer the optimum mix of performance, shock load capability, longevity and ease of installation.
Power Transmission Belting
Nitta offers a wide array of power transmission products that have been divided into five categories: Polybelt, PolySprint, Aramid CF Series, Lesycon and Super Endless.
Polybelt
This technology features a rubber covered, nylon core used in power transmission, carrier belts and tapes. Poly belt is available in eight cover thicknesses and thirteen nylon strengths to meet your requirements for horsepower ratings, abrasion, wear resistance, and pulley diameters in a variety of applications. Polybelt has been successful in a variety of industries such as textile, paper and box, poultry, flour, printing and tube winders, just to name a few.
Features
High strength pre-set nylon core; highly abrasion resistant; oil and chemical resistant rubber covers; superior resistance to flexing fatigue; anti-static properties.

Neoprene body provides protection against grime, grease, oil. and moisture. Nylon tooth facing provides a durable wear surface for long service life. Gates' patented tooth profile is designed for use with a specific sprocket groove profile. The sprocket groove-belt tooth combination increases capacity, while improving registration. PowerGrip GT2 greatly exceeds HTD in tooth ratchet resistance. Eliminates lubrication and re-tensioning to reduce maintenance and labor as compared to roller chain drives. Power Grip GT W2 belt/sprocket combinations match or exceed the positional accuracy of PowerGrip Timing belt/pulley systems.

Durable polyurethane construction resists chemicals, oil, pollutants and abrasion. Nylon tooth facing reduces friction and eliminates the need for lubrication. Quieter than roller chain drives. Fully operational in temperature extremes of -65F to +185F (-54C to +85C).

Applications- All Industrial markets, but particularly suited to replace roller chain. Useful forbringing overhung load (created by rubber belt drives) on a reducer into acceptable limits.

Applications- Suitable for all industrial, wide-speed range open pulley or enclosed device variable speed drives.
High variety of belt sizes available permits the application of Megadyne V-belts on all types of industrial equipments.
Applied technology allows to reach so good dimensional precision in V-BELTS to make them suitable for multiple transmission. This dimensional stability continues also during belt use.
Megadyne V-Ribbed belts are endless rubber belts with longitudinal V shaped groove, polybutadiene compound and tensile member in polyester. They transmit the motor power by friction from the driver to the driven side of the machine.
Timing rubber belts represent an excellent system for power transmission. these transmission systems allow: Synchronized transmission, High and constant angular speed, Excellent mechanical performances, Dimensional stability, Resistence to high and variable loads, Low noise, Low installation tensions, No lubrication and maintenance.
Rubber open end timing belts are particularly suitable for linear motion, positioning and reversible transmission systems, they assure high load resistence, no maintenance costs and low noise. Available in different profiles.
Megapower belts are produced with a single moulding process. High quality thermoset poliurethane assure hi resistence to the abrasion, cords in different materials give to the belt hi strengh.
MEGAFLEX timing belts are manufactured in thermoplastic polyurethane, with continuous spiral steel cords. This type of belt, developed by our Research and Developement, offers good running characteristics and high speeds.
MEGALINEAR belts are thermoplastic poliurethane open-end belts with steel cord to give more resistence, they can be jointed to obtain an endless belt or sold in rolls.
MEGARIB belts are polyurethane by termoset procedure with polyester high tension cords, wich combine the high flexibility of flat belts with the power transmission capability of V-belts.
MEGAFLAT belts are truly endless mandrel moulded, available with either polyester, aramide or cotton reinforcements.
Key Features- High Modulus Polyurethane compound resists fatigue, wear, ozone, and most environmental conditions. Precise casting method eliminates layers and overlaps for smooth running and low vibration.Ribbed backing provides greater lateral stability and relieves bending stress. Working temperature range: -65T to +180F (-54C to +85C). Joined belt construction provides high stability, preventing belts from turning over or coming off of the drive.

Applications- Use in place of Polyflex singles on drives requiring joined sets. A partial feting of applications include machine tools, computer peripherals, medical equipment, library equipment, small appliances, blower drives and dough mixer.
