Our Product / Services
This is a semi crystalline thermoplastic with excellent mechanical and chemical resistance properties that are retained to high temperatures. The only disadvantage with PEEK is the high price, which limits its application to high value items.
The processing conditions used to mould PEEK can influence the crystallinity, and therefore the mechanical properties. It’s mechanical properties at high temperatures have led to it being used in at least two varieties of Reprap extruder as thermal insulation. This means the main mechanical structure of the extruder can be made of the same material that is being extruded, provided that the PEEK insulator prevents heat from travelling beyond the intended melt zone.

Manufactured in colours, clear, opaque, PMMA (ACRYLIC) Sheet offers good impact and excellent weather resistance. It is rigid and lightweight and has several times the breakage resistance of standard glass yet is half the weight. PMMA (ACRYLIC) Sheet, Rod, Pipe is extruded, Casting in compliance with international standards, and is suitable for both internal and external use.
This is the ideal material for a wide variety of external applications like thermoformed and fabricated outdoor components, skylights, sidewalk signs, and signage protectors.
PMMA (ACRYLIC) RangeBlocks, Rods, Pipe Sheets, Pipe, Standard and custom profiles, cut-to-size strips.
PMMA (ACRYLIC) Application
PMMA (ACRYLIC) Chemical ResistanceExcellent resistance to diluted acids, aliphatic hydrocarbons, ammonia and many-other chemicals.
PMMA (ACRYLIC) Light TransmissionA light transmission of 92% Clear is there with Standard Acrylic Sheet. The Clear High Impact Acrylic Sheet has a light transmission of 90 %.

This Sheet & Rod is an amorphous engineering thermoplastic. It has high heat resistance 338°F (170°C), high strength and modulus, as well as excellent electrical insulating properties, which are stable over wide ranges of temperature and frequency and considered one of the most high performance plastics. Flexible ether group linkages ensure relatively easy processing. PEI-POLYETHERIMIDE (ULTEM) is an amber-to-transparent thermoplastic with characteristics similar to the related plastic PEEK. PEI-POLYETHERIMIDE (ULTEM) is cheaper than PEEK, but is lower in impact strength and usable temperature.
PEI (ULTEM) PropertiesPEI is one of the most commonly used high performance plastic materials. It is an amorphous polyetherimide. It is characterized by excellent thermal performance and high mechanical stiffness and strength. Flame retardant, it possesses good resistance to acids and is capable of operating continuously in steam and hot water. It is perfect for more demanding applications. PEI (GF) 30 is 30% glass reinforced and provides enhanced stiffness, strength and dimensional stability.
PEI (ULTEM) Application
PEI (Ultem) FeatureThe material has excellent dimensional stability in a variety of environments as moisture absorption is low. Although unfilled PEI is not a particularly good bearing material, internally lubricated PEI, particularly carbon fiber filled grades, do show good friction and wear characteristics.
PEI (Ultem) Sheet Standard Size610mm x 1220mm, 1000mm x 1000mm, 1000mm x 2000mm and Off Cut sizes as per Requirements.
