It is important to keep the concrete mix at low temperature to yield superior concrete and to avoid any cracks in concreting.Smaller ranges of flake ice units are made suitable for sea water and can be supplied to Deep sea trawlers & small units within ranges of 1 to 2 tons/24 hrs.Ice flakes are also used in super markets.IRPL offers Flake ice units with capacity ranging from 1 ton/24 hours to 100 tons/24 hours. Metalex tube ice machines are designed to produce solid tubular ice pieces of uniform size with longer shelf life.
In the low side freezer the ice is frozen automatically in the vertical stainless steel tubes. The environment friendly refrigerant Ammonia is circulated in the freezer through an accumulator located by the side of top tank. The hot gas is then passed around the tubes to release the ice downwards by gravity which is cut by a specially designed cutter in pre-determined size of 16, 25 or 36 mm. All surfaces having contact with water or ice are made of stainless steel or other rust resistance materials.
The high side equipment of the plant comprising of Metalex refrigeration compressor, suitable motor, shell & tube condenser and receiver bear Metalex quality stamp for longer trouble free service. The specially designed control panel ensures the automatic working of the machine.
These machines are manufactured as per ASME code for high energy efficiency and low maintenance. The Freezer (Low side components) is mounted on a sturdy steel frame. Applications: Sea Food and Food Processing, Concrete Cooling and Chilling, Dairies and Hatcheries, Chemical and Pharma plants etc
