This Heat Exchanger is developed for utilization of waste heat from exhaust flue gases of industrial furnaces. The temperature of flue gases should lie in the order of 600°C to 950oC. Thus, an extensive amount of heat energy, which may vary between 35 to 42% of the heat participation to the furnace, goes to the atmosphere as an overall loss. An important part of this entire operation is that the waste heat can be gainfully recovered by installing a Recuperator or Heat Exchanger, which preheats the combustion air from the evasion flue gases to a temperature of about 400oC. This outcome in recycle of waste heat back to the furnace and save about 12-15% of fuel oil. Why Our Heat Exchanger?
