Sitara Plus is a unique systemic triazole fungicide, acting as protective, curative and eradicant with strong antisporulant and translaminar action. It is potent ergosterol biosynthesis inhibitor. Ergosterol, a principal sterol in most fungi is an indispensable component in the membrane structures.

Application

1000 1250ml per hectare formulation. Water Volume ranges between 500 to 1000 liter per hectare based upon crop type and crop stage. It is advised that the user must read the label and leaflet attached to the container for details or follow local universities recommendations.

Sprint is a combination of contact and systemic fungicide, having both curative and preventive activity.

Mixture partner Mancozeb is a contact action and preventive fungicide with multisite mode of action. It remains on the seed surface in treated seeds. It is fungitoxic when exposed to air, converted into isothiocynate, which inactivates the sulphahydral group of enzymes in fungi, causing disturbance in fungal enzyme functioning.

Other mixture partner Carbendazim is systemic in action acts as preventive and curative. It acts by disrupting the spindle formation during cell division in fungi.

A multi-site contact inorganic fungicide. Sulphur is a non-systemic contact and protectant fungicide with secondary acaricidal activity.

Mode of Action

It is a broad-spectrum contact fungicide with protective action. Copper because of its strong bonding affinity to amino acids and carboxyl groups, reacts with protein and acts as an enzyme inhibitor in target organisms. Copper kills spores by combining with sulphahydral groups of certain enzymes. Spores actively accumulate copper and thus germination of spores is inhibited, even at lower concentrations.
