Quality Control : With customers, an agreed Quality Assurance Plan is drawn up for Compliance. Casting, Forgings, and rolled stock are Proof Machined and then subjected to Ultrasonic Testing to levels II or III only that comp. which are O.K. in UST are accepted for further processing. We do our own US Testing. For Tensile testing, Pipe Threading Machines, Pipe Bending Machines are cast/forged integral with items. Tensile, Chemical Test is carried out at Govt. Authorized Test Houses. We use spectrometer for chemical testing. The former is also done at a Govt. Authorized Test House. On jobs needing Hardening & Tempering therefore, we carry out hardness testing as a rule. Measurements are done for dimensional and positional accuracies as per drawing and relevant standards. In some cases, after Rough Machining, a heat treatment cycle is carried out, (Temperatures etc. are recorded on charts), and then final machining is done.
