At Icelings we offer a wide range of concrete cooling solutions for the construction industry. In construction of dams, tunnels, bridges, and sewage plants etc; it is of utmost importance that temperature of the green concrete is controlled so that these buildings can withstand tensions that are created in finished concrete structure. Excessive internal heat-up of the green concrete especially in hot climates has to be avoided in order to prevent cracks and maintain proper strength, ensure consistent quality, and eliminate cracks.
On mixing cement used in concrete with water heat is liberated which is known as the heat of hydration formed by the exothermic chemical reaction between cement and water. This heat of hydration raises the temperature during the curing process by up to 25 causing an increase of volume. After the curing the concrete cools down again reducing its volume and thus naturally causing cracks eventually. Therefore the initial pouring temperature should be lowered so much that the maximum temperature during the curing process does not exceed a certain temperature determined by the consultants.

The ICELINGS tube ice maker discharges ice every 20 minutes. A tube ice plant of 20 ton per day capacity will produce 280 kg of ice every 20 minutes. Which means, every hour, it will produce 840 kg of tube ice. Depending on the process demand, industrial ice users may require tube ice in batches of approximately 10 tons in one hour or 10 tons in 20 min. In such conditions, they have to store the ice. Also areas where power is inexpensive at night, it is profitable to make ice at night and store it for the usage during the day.

Shell and tube condensers are currently the most popular type of condensers used worldwide. Icelings tube ice plants are supplied with shell and tube condensers. We can also supply tube ice plant with Plate Heat Exchanger- PHE or Evaporative Condenser.
PLUGnCHILL is a next generation technology product fom TESSOL for cold chain application. It eliminates the use of diesel for reefer and insulated cabins. This reduces operating costs in transport refrigeration and cold stores by 60%. The added advantage is that this system ensures necessary temperature for refrigerated transportation of products/produce according to its specific temperature requirement.The temperature inside the insulated cabin is usually maintained for 18 24 hrs during point to point transport. maximum charging time is up to 6 hours.Unlike conventional systems, being completely decoupled from the vehicle engine, it has no adverse impact on the maintenence costs of the vehicle and eliminates any issues of midway engine failures. Therefore once stored in a charged vehicle, your goods are definately safe.
The Live Bottom Bin is ideally suitable to store tube ice up to 20 Ton and has a unique design with the first in-first out principle. Means, ice which enters the bin first will be discharged first.
Bulk industrial tube ice users prefer an automated system of tube ice delivery - from ice maker discharge to ice storage as well as feeding the tube ice to process from the ice storage. ICELINGS offers complete solution for the automatic tube ice making, storage and delivery.
Tube ice can be stored and delivered to the final point of consumption from the ice stored in Rake System or Live Bottom Bin. Both the systems should be housed within an insulated cabin to prevent the ice from melting. ICELINGS offers PUF insulated ice storage cabin.
