Expanded Graphite Fibre

ITK style 305 is Pure Graphite in the ribbon tape form, It is self-lubricating , low friction, high purity, ribbon tape without any filters, binders, resins, oil or grease which could possible leave the packing and reduce its volume or contaminate the process media. It is ideally suited for high temperature and pressure applications, This packing is non-hardening and dimensionally stable and impervious to gases and fluids. ITK style 305 is cut from flexible graphite sheet with carbon content no less than 99% in rolls, as the filler for spiral wound gasket in situ pumps and valve gland packing.

Product Description

ITK style 210 is square braided from synthetic fibre called Poly Acrylic Nitrile (P.A.N.) fibres and thoroughly impregnated with heavy PTFE dispersion and further treated with special lubricants which will maximise the performance of the synthetic fibre. It is thoroughly impregnated with PTFE in order to enhance the chemical resistance, lubrication and dimensional stability, this helps to ensure even gland local distribution and promoting longer packing life.
ITK style 210 is general purpose, cost effective packing for majority of plant applications. ITK style 210 is specifically designed to provide exceptional performance against local inferior quality packing's available in the market and to protect the shaft against wear with abrasive media.

P.A.N. Synthetic Fibre, Impregnated With Pure Graphite Fibres

ITK style 214 is square braided from reinforced Poly Acrylic Nitrile (P.A.N.) fibres in combination of pure graphite fibres, each strand of yarn is thoroughly impregnated and is sealed off with a special grade of fine graphite flakes. To enhance the packing performance and properties, this composite yarn is given a treatment of final coating of graphite impregnation prior to its been squared.
