Bright white vinyl slab cloth for candy making in anon stick and fullywash proof material. This is the preferred material for lining work surfaces with when working with candy.Not only does it help prevent the candies from sticking to the surface, it alsohelps minimize heat loss.
The candy makers slab cloth can be used to line all different table top types. It can either be glued or fastened down using a solid edgefastened to the perimeter.
The Aligner feeder flow-pack machine machine will automatically arrange products into a single file before feeding them into the wrapping section. It has a wrapping speed of 300-500 wraps per minute and will adjust its speed to coincide with the production machines feeding it.
The in-feed section uses a series of conveyors to automatically align products into single file before feeding them into the wrapper.
The flow-pack is fully automatic with print registration and a date printer, as well as an auto-reject device for misplaced chocolates/candies.
The machine can also be supplied in different configurations of cutting jaws for different sized products.
The machine wraps in the pillow pack style:The Loynds Chocolate Enrobing Machine and Refrigerated Cooling Tunnel can be manufactured in widths from 200mm up to 1200mm. Everythingis manufactured in a way that ensures easy maintenance and cleaning.
The width of the enrobing head is made to your requirements and fitted with all the features of a modern day enrobing machine. The machine consists of:
The length of the cooling tunnel is based on your specifications and the machine frame is manufactured from stainless steel or mild steel section construction. The outside construction is from stainless steel.
The tunnel is fitted with refrigeration units that give brilliant cooling properties. The belt is driven via a motor and gear box unit with variable speed; auto-tracking is accomplished with pneumatic cylinders.
Conveyor belt speed is 07 meters per minute, but this can be adjusted based on yourrequirements. Outside panels are of the lift off lid-type and the enrober has a knife edge at the discharge end which provides easy removal of the enrobed products.
The jacket around the pan is filled with oil, which is heated by electric heating elements. Heat from the oil is conducted though the wall of the pan, giving an even heat surrounding the ingredients inside.
Fully controllable temperature settings up to 300C alongside fully adjustable stirring speed give maximal control over the cooking parameters, meaning many different recipes can be made in the kettle.
The stirrers can be raised/lowered from the control panel, which also controls the hydraulic tilting of the pan for pouring out when the ingredients are cooked.

FeaturesThe outer casing and contact parts on our Candy Batch Roller are manufactured from stainless steel, for easy cleaning and maintenance. This model can roll a maximum batch of 70kg. The machine is electrically heated to keep the candy mass soft while rolling.
Many candy lines start with one of these machines and it plays a key role in the making of many types of confectionery products.
Tapered rollers rotate the candy into a cone shape, the end of which is stretched to form a rope. Rock candy, candy canes, die formed soft chews and more can be produced from this candy rope depending on which machines follow the batch roller in the production line. The batchroller can also play a key role in many hand made candies.
The Candy Batch Roller features:The Loynds RS5 Candy Rope Sizer can be supplied as a standalone unit or as part of a complete Loynds candy manufacturing production line.
The rope will be fed in from either an extruder machine or a batch roller. The batch is then passed through several sets of solid brass rollers. This forces the candy into a rope of consistent and precise diameter. The sized rope can then be fed onto the next stage of processing. From this point onward, a multitude of confectionery types can beproduced. We have a machine to suit the production of all types of candy. Rope Sizer Machine Features:A rotary blade cutting machine suitable for cutting slabs of fudge, caramels, nougats and various other soft food items. A dual set of rotating blades can cut product into cubes, oblongs and bars.
The fudge cutterconsists of a center chain conveyor that transports a nylon tray through the machine. Product is loaded onto thetray beforeit is automatically transported through the set of rotating blades. The tray is rotated 90 before passing through the second set of blades to give the criss-cross cut.

The Loynds Cut & Twist Wrapping Machine will cut and wrap up to 500 pieces per minute. It can produce and wrap squares, oblongs, cubesand log shaped pieces and it will wrap them in a double twist wrap style.

Our Candy Hot Table is manufactured from a stainless steel box section with a sheet steel top. The inside of the tabletop contains two heating elements that are controlled by a simmer-stat unit, providing total heat control from warm to very hot.
As standard, the table is fitted with a total 1kW of electrical heating elements, whichcan raise the surface temperature to 80c. Extra heating elements can be fitted if required.
The tabletop is covered with a special non-stick, food-grade vinyl coatingthis makes your candy easier to work with and prevents any of the product from sticking to the table.
Candy Hot Table features:Drop Roller Candy Machinesarea low cost solution to producing die-formed hard candy sweets.
The machine can be used to produce either solid single colour candies or two-colour layered candies. A set of brass rollers with the candy design engraved into them continuously forms a ribbon of candy into the required shape.
The formed candy is then left to cool before the sweets can be broken up, sieved and then processed further or packaged.The brass rollers can be engraved in various shapes including ovals, rounds, balls, oblongs, pears, lemons, flat drops or various other novelty shapes.
Some bar products can also be made on specially designed rollers.Further machines can be added to make this a more automated process if required.
Examples designsThe Loynds Cushion Cutter machine is a bench top unit used for making hard and soft candies.
Candy rope is pulled throughthe cushion cutter machine and cut into pillow shaped pieces typically known as humbugs.Once it has beencut, the candy rope is then left to cool and becomes brittle, making it easy to break up into individual candy cushion pieces.
The unit consists of an in-feed port, cutter and out-feed port, all manufacturedin stainless steel for long life and maximum hygiene.
The unit is supplied with one set of cutters; with differentcutters the unit can cut many different lengths of candies.
At the front of the machine is a clear hinged guard cover to thecutter section. This is fitted with a safety switch so the machine will automatically stop if the guard is open.
These machines are typically suited to small scale, low volume production. For example recipe development, publicdemonstrations and low output manufacturers.
Cushion Cutter FeaturesThe sugar pulling machine body is manufactured from heavy-duty, cast steel construction and is of a proven design.
It has three arms, one is stationary while the other two revolve around it. The arms are covered in nylon so the candy batch doesnt stick to them.
The candy batch is placed in the machine and the arms pull and stretch the mass. The pulling process makes the sugar candy mass become whitenedandaerated.
Stainless steel catch trays are fitted to the machine as standard and we can provide safety guarding.
Models of Sugar Pulling Machine available:The Loynds Mini Batch Roller forms a batch of candy or toffee into a conical shapeor rope.The batch is rolled continuously whileheat is applied via an overhead heating panel, controlled by a thermostat dial located on the side panel.
The machine is suitable for batches of product up to 10kg in weight. Its small size makes this model of batch roller ideal for recipe development and small scale low volume manufacturers.
The Mini Batch Rollers body is manufactured from a mixture of stainless steel and food-grade acetal plastic. It is also easyto operate, maintain and clean due to the simple design.
The Loynds range of mini hot tables isthe ideal solution for the artisan candy maker. A hot table helps increase the time available to work the batch of candy before it sets and goes too hard.
The standard mini hot table dimensions are 1000mm x 650mm although theycan be manufactured in any size required.
The table top is coated with a food grade non-stick vinyl coating and raised edges help prevent products from falling off the edge.The temperature of the table isadjustable via a rotary dial positioned above the tabletop.

It is usually used in conjunction with a batch roller and rope sizer for continuous production. The machine can also be supplied with a single-tier shaking bed cooler.

The liquid toffee is poured into the machine hopper. Chilled water cools the internal surface of the drum. As the drum rotates, a layer of toffee adheres to the outer surface of the cooling drum. The toffee is cooled and scraped off automatically at the other end.
Full control is available of cooling, toffee thickness and machine speed.
Cooling drums allow continuous cooling instead of the usual batch method usingcooling tables.
The cooling drum is manufactured fromstainless steel for easy cleaning and maintenance.
Manufactured from full stainless steel, the Candy Pulling Hookis robust, easy to clean and simple to use (as well as keeping you fit!).
The candy batch is first placed over the hook, then the two loose ends are gathered and thrown over it repeatedly. The process continues until sufficient air has been pulled into the batch.
Pulling the batch also turns the candy white, which can prove useful when trying to achieveparticular colours.
The CandyPulling Hookis supplied in two parts: the back plate is screwed onto the wall and the hook slips easily in and out for easy cleaning.
Candy Pulling Hook features:The cooking stove provides 3000W of adjustable power heating via an electric induction hob. The cooker is manufactured from stainless steel to ensure easy cleaning.
The stainless steel pan will hold a 7kg batch (17 litres) of candyapproximately 3 of these can be cooked every hour.

Each Chocolate Tank in the Loynds range is fitted with a stainless steel ball or butterfly valve outlet.The stirrers are of the over-driven gate type and on tanks of 150kg and under they have side scraping units.The stirrers are driven by a bridge mounted motor and gearbox unit. At each side of the centre bridge are two hinged lids with magnetic safety switches fitted.
All chocolate tanks are heated via a water jacket.
A fully controllable thermostat ensures the chocolate is warmed to the correct temperature.
Capacities of Chocolate Tank available:Cooling fans fitted for ambient air cooling. The machine is fitted with a vibratory arm motion and timers for the control of vibration, cooling, cycle time and speed, so a perfect distribution can be achieved throughout the moulding.
Stop ball lollipops getting flat spots, which slows down the wrapping process.
This cooler is only suitable for factories thathave a cooler ambient air temperature. Factories with hotter air temperatures will need to use thefive-tier refrigerated cooler.

This machine is an ideal accompaniment to ourblister pack machine.
It takes the blister packs and places them into small outer boxes at a rate of up to 120 boxes per minute.
By using vacuum, the machine can emulate the human process of picking up and unfolding a flat box, then sliding in a sealed blister pack tray along with a folded leaflet.
Sensors help avoid waste by stopping the boxes when no blister pack tray is detected.
FeaturesThe blister pack machine will seal goods inside a plastic shell with a foil backing, keeping it fresh during storage and easy to remove by the end user.
The shape of the shell is formed from a roll of rigid PVC sheet by heated dies on a hydraulic press, at the next step the product is poured into the shells, which then go on to be covered with aluminium foil from the foil reel. Heated hydraulic presses now perform a perfect seal. The sealed shells are now cut into your desired sized pieces and ready for further packaging into boxes by a machine like ourCarton Boxing Machine. The remaining trimmings from the cutting stage are neatly collected on a final reel.

Cut and Wrap Machine (C&FW800)
800 pieces per minute cut and wrap machine suitable for chewing gums, soft caramels, candies.
Machine features include rope sizing, cutting, single or double paper wrapping.

Wrapping Materials
The chewing gum line begins with the extrusion of a gum sheet that is then conveyed and automatically powdered on both the top and bottom. After being powdered, the gum sheet is then reduced in thickness by a six-gauge roller unit and further conveyed to the automatic powder removal unit.
The gum sheet enters the scouting and cutting unit and is cut into smaller sheets; rollers create a chiclet/stick impression onto the gum. The sheets are then conveyed away from the machine and an operator will need to stack them so they harden, ready for wrapping. A refrigerated cooling tunnel can be used, if required. Once the gum sheets have hardened, they are then placed in to the breaking and sieving drum and the gum pieces will separate; any crumb webbing is removed.
To coat the gum pieces with sugar and glaze, we are also able to supply 1000mm coating pans.
