Roof extractors are powered Ventilation Fans mounted on the roof to exhaust air forcibly they are provided with durable weather proof outer cowls. In this type of roof exhauster there is a continuous expulsion of indoor stale, hot and contaminated air thereby inducing fresh air into the enclosed space thus maintaining a healthy indoor air quality. These roof exhauster can be used in wall or window applications which experience severe wind conditions whilst all models feature a weatherproof outer cowl. HINDUSTAN AXIAL fans have a wheel inside a cylindrical housing, with close clearance between blade and housing to improve air flow efficiency, . The wheel turns faster than propeller fans enabling operation under pressures up to 200mm WG. The efficiency of AXIAL fan is up to 65-70%.

For removal of dust from air, a filter is ideal. Ii restricts airflow by using a suitable (liter cloth. Filter cloth should be such that it offers minimum resistance to air flow but holds the dust particles to travel with air. A suitable bag Alter can be used as per the dust quality. Some details are as under: Separation of dust follows the size of dust to be removed. Larger the size, simpler the process of separation. Generally larger sizes above 0.5 min are separated by sieves itself, but when the particle size goes in to micron size, filtration becomes exciting.
