The blowers for vacuum to minus 500mbar are based on the DT blower packages. The blower is additionally equipped with a vacuum valve which protects the blower from overloading. These blower can be used in vacuum pneumatic transport, paper and printing industries, agriculture, industrial vacuum cleaners, etc.
Compensation for Gamma background is crucial in tritium measurement, since a gamma field of 1mR/Hr will generate 500 times the ionization generated in 1Ci/m of tritium. Tyne designed the four, 250 cc ion chambers in a cruciform with each chamber connected to an ultra sensitive electrometer amplifier and filter. All signals pass through the ADC converter, and the micro-processor calculates and displays the tritium value. To cover high ranges of tritium a separate small ion chamber is used. Measurements such as flow from the solid-state flowmeter and chamber temperature are also monitored by the micro-processor.
Instrument output includes analog (0-5V, 4-20mA); relay alarm contact (30VDC, 1A) for operation of external equipment; and communication (RS232/RS485) to enable downloading or recording of information onto a computer. The O-ring is a simple and versatile seal that can be used in thousands of applications. O-rings are manufactured in a wide variety of compounds to suit your every need.
Static SealingMost O-Rings are used in static service (the O-Ring and metal surfaces remain relatively fixed). They may be applied as face seals or radial seals. In face seal applications, the O-Ring should seat against the low pressure side of the groove.
Dynamic SealingThe O-Ring moves relative to the mating surface. A moving seal may be further classified by the type of motion: reciprocating, oscillating, or rotating. The greatest number of dynamic seals are used in reciprocating service in cylinders, valves, and linear actuators. Oscillating motion is encountered in swivels and valve stems. When an O-Ring is used on a rotating shaft, it should be limited to light duty where the shaft speed is low and some fluid bypass is acceptable.

Durometer Selection70-durometer hardness should be used wherever possible as it offers the best combination of properties for most O-Ring applications. Softer compounds stretch easier and seal better on rough surfaces. Harder compounds offer greater abrasion resistance and resistance to extrusion.

Boss Tube Fittings O-Ring sizes for Boss Tube Fittings are available in both 70 & 90 Durometer. These O-Rings are used in applications to provide a seal for straight-thread tube fittings on a boss.

Machined integrally from a block, the Machined T Valve normally features three common ports with the same bore dimensions and incorporates a valve body and a tee fitting into a single solution. Machined T valves form the ideal solution for feeding laterals off recirculating loops, sample points or use-point applications. The bodies can be supplied with weld or hygienic clamp end connections or included U-bend configurations for point of use.
DEPA Air Operated Diaphragm Pumps, High Pressure Pumps, Series DB DEPA Air Operated Diaphragm Pumps are a cost-effective alternative in pressure-maintaining operation since any elaborate and costly closed-loop or open-loop control is dispensed with. Overview DEPA Air Operated High Pressure Diaphragm Pumps (series-M), type DB, are preferred by filter press operators. The DEPA high pressure pumps are factory set to 13bar (188psi), 16bar (232psi) or 21 bar (305psi). They can be operated at the required working point. The variable pressures possible with the DEPA pumps protect the filter press while the short filling cycles improve the productivity of the entire filter process. There are 3 sizes available so that the pumps can be individually adapted to requirements of the transfer tasks. While the body is made of cast stainless steel, various elastomer materials for diaphragms, valve seat, s and valve balls are also available. |
The Revo Series R range of actuators is ideal for operating quarter-turn valves, especially butterfly, ball and plug valves. Typical applications are 90 or 180 rotary motion and Multiposition function.
The linear counter movement of the pistons is transmitted into the required 90 travel by means of the integrated racks of the pistons and the pinion.
All Revo actuators are suitable for on/off or modulating control operations. Double-acting actuators are operated by air in both directions (open and closed) whilst single-acting actuators can be supplied with springs to open or close. On air failure these will then go into a fail-safe position.

The most common customized valve concept is the tandem valve or valve and fitting combination. A main valve is ported and a section of tube is welded to the port to create an access point into the valve. This tube can in turn be welded to a second valve forming a two-valve cluster, or the tube can be turned into a weld end, hygienic clamp or other type of fitting. The resultant product is designed to optimise drain ability and meets standard process considerations including camps for dead leg minimisation.
