The Ceasefire Alustar suits are meant for proximity firefighting, bulk flammable liquids firefighting, flammable gas firefighting and similar situations that release high levels of radiant heat.

The suits are an integration of the latest material technology, design and construction workmanship and are certified to EN 1486.

The Ceasefire Alustar is an Aluminized para-aramide proximity suit with multi-layer system.

The suit's outer material has a special aluminization technology called Dual Mirror which enables a much better radiant heat reflection compared to conventional aluminized fabrics. The base fabric is a knitted virgin para-aramide that is extremely light in weight. This makes the suit very comfortable and flexible while in use. The suit is also very strong owing to its rip stop weave.

The second layer is a moisture barrier which prevents water penetration.

The third layer, i.e. the thermal barrier, consists of an Aramid / Viscose FR inner lining quilted to two layers of inherently flame retardant felt. This dual layer felt enables more air to be trapped between the layers causing much better insulation against heat.

With mere 6 kg of weight, Alustar eliminates the discomfort of managing a bulky fire suit and allows one to focus on fire fighting.

Fire Detection

First, in the generator area, a network of detection devices, special Watermist nozzles and a connection either to a water tank or water cylinders is installed in the micro-environment. In the event of a fire, the system kicks into action in seconds.

The specially designed nozzles dispense Watermist, made up of microscopic droplets of water (below 70 microns), onto the fire affected area, quickly putting out the flames as well as bringing the temperature down to non-combustion levels.

The Goldstar is a high-end range of protective suits for Fire Fighting and is made of PBI Gold Material. These suits are recommended for large fires that are beyond the EcoStar and ProStar suits' capacities.

The outer shell of Goldstar is made of PBI - GOLD, which is a blend of 40% thermal resistant PBI fibers and 60% high strength aramid. It does not shrink, become brittle, or break open even under extreme heat. It also has excellent flame resistant properties. The fabric withstands the dangers associated with firefighting, arc flash, and flash fire. It provides firefighters and industrial workers with superior protection and meets or exceeds every National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) requirement and EN 469 standard.

Goldstars moisture barrier consists of FR nonwoven with PU membrane, to protect against the intrusion of water, chemicals and viral agents, allow metabolic heat to escape and reduce overall heat stress during strenuous activities. Apart from this, dual layers of FR nonwoven are used in this fire suit to act as a secondary heat barrier.

Aramid / Viscose FR are used in the inner protective lining of Goldstar, to provide optimum comfort to the fire fighter by reducing surface friction and improving overall mobility.

Lastly, the sewing thread used in this fire suit i.e. 100% ARAMID, adds the final safety signature.
