HAST produces wire cloth extruder screens of the highest quality used in the plastic melt filtration process. HAST produces theses screen packs in a number of different shapes and sizes. We can also produce them in various configurations, including options for single or multi-layer designs and rim bound or raw edge filters. These filters can be designed with retention ranges from anywhere between 10 and 1, 000 microns.

The Computerized Particle Analyzer is built specifically for increasing the speed and accuracy of your particle analysis process. Our inline and online CPA systems have proven their worth to lab technicians, providing complete particle analysis 3 to 5 times faster than standard sieve tests. Our CPA has the largest abstract measuring range from 10 microns all the way up to 400 mm.

The HAVER CPA 2-1 actually counts and measures, in real time, each individual particle of a representative material sample. The resulting distribution curve is based on the actual number of particles measured within a given size range. The test sieving process is a weight distribution analysis method.
A series of machine models examine particles sizes within the ASTM E11 and ISO 3310 standard range and above. The CPA conveys dry, free-flowing material samples to be examined by the camera lens, which is making approximately 20, 000 scans per second. This technology provides consistent, repeatable results.
The correlation now becomes significant as today, and into the foreseeable future, traditional test sieving methods will remain popular and cost-effective for many quality control laboratories. Alternate technology results can now be compared apples to apples.

The original W.S. Tyler Ro-Tap is the industry standard for consistent, repeatable particle-size testing. With both mechanical and electronic options, W.S. Tyler offers multiple solutions to fit your laboratory needs.
The Ro-Tap is the required test sieve shaker in many industrial specifications. Currently, there are no industry standards governing the calibration of the unit itself. W.S. Tyler recommends the product users develop their own quality control program.
The Ro-Tap Test Sieve Shaker series are available in 110v or 220v power options. The Ro-Tap E Units are CE Approved. All test sieve shakers are supplied with an operations manual, including unit diagrams that feature parts schematics. The units are well built, durable and require little, if any, maintenance.
The new generation of HAVER EML 200 for test sieves have diameters of up to 203 mm and can be used for dry and wet sieving of bulk material of maximum 3 kilograms. We have in house facilities to melt, purify and draw silver wires as well as manufacture the wire mesh. We provide the entire range of facilities so as to ensure the high quality of the product and ensure minimal metal losses of our customers.
Silver wire mesh is used as a support to the granular catalyst in the recent technology of formaldehyde plants and can also be used as an isolated catalyst in acetaldehyde plants.

The carry-over of liquid particulate matter by gas or vapour is generally termed as entrainment, which is commonly encountered in gas-liquid separations. The Demister Pad is an entrainment eliminator manufactured by HAST. It is specially designed and fabricated from knitted wire of metallic or synthetic materials, to suit specific process configuration in existing or new equipment. When properly installed, the Demister Pad achieves 99.9% + separation efficiency with minimal pressure drop.
