Aluminum 5052 is one of the higher strength non-heat treatable alloys (Annealed it is stronger than 1100 and 3003). Alloy 5052 has excellent characteristics with a high fatigue strength it is used for structures which are subject to excessive vibrations. As 5052 also has excellent corrosion resistance, especially in marine atmospheres and is therefore commonly used in boats, marine components, fuel and oil tubing.

monel alloy 500 round bars are age hardenable versions of alloy 400 for increased strength and hardness. Monel alloy 500 has excellent corrosion resistance. It uses the addition of aluminum and titanium as hardening agents. It can be heat treated to 140, 000 190, 000 tensile strength. It is hardenable by cold working and age hardening. Monel alloy 500 is a precipitation-hardenable nickel-copper alloy that combines the excellent corrosion resistance characteristic of monel 400 with the added advantage of greater strength and hardness. These amplified properties, strength and hardness are obtained by adding aluminum and titanium to the nickel-copper base and by a thermal processing used to effect precipitation, typically called age hardening or aging. When in the age-hardened condition, monel alloy 500 has a greater tendency toward stress-corrosion cracking in some environments than monel 400. Monel alloy 500 has approximately three times the yield strength and double the tensile strength when compared with alloy 400. Plus, it can be further strengthened by cold working prior to precipitation hardening. The strength of this nickel steel alloy is maintained to 1200o f but stays ductile and tough down to temperatures of 400o f. Its melting range is 2400-2460o f.
Inconel 625 is a nickel-based alloy used both for its high strength and outstanding aqueous corrosion resistance. The strength of alloy 625 is primarily a solid solution effect from molybdenum and columbium. Alloy 625 has excellent weld ability and is frequently used to weld AL-6XN alloy. Matching filler metals are also used to combine dissimilar metals. Alloy 625 has a face-centered cubic structure. After long exposures at a temperature of approximately 650°C (1200°F) the alloy precipitates some isolated carbides and a metastable tetragonal phase which later changes to a stable orthorhombic phase Ni3 (Nb, Ti). The mechanical properties are enhanced by the molybdenum and niobium content through solid-solution hardening of the nickel-chromium matrix. There is, however, a loss in ductility. Inconel 625 Bars are used in industries which require super alloys that don’t oxidize or corrode and maintain their integrity across a full range of extreme temperatures. Nickel base, reinforced with a columbium-tantalum alloy, molybdenum, niobium and chromium. Inconel 625’s combination of refractory metals and alloys exhibit uniform performance at temperatures ranging from cryogenic to over 1000 degrees Celsius/2000 degrees Fahrenheit. Performance characteristics include scaling and oxidation resistance, stabilization during welding, resistance to chloride stress and corrosion cracking and outstanding fatigue strength. Inconel 625 Bars are non-magnetic. This makes Inconel 625 a prime of the aerospace, hardware manufacturing, marine engineering, chemical processing and power generation industries. Inconel 625 (UNS N06625) corrosion resistance includes harsh and hostile environments such as salt water, fresh water, neutral salts, air and alkali.

Nickel 718 is an age hardenable alloy, which offers a combination of high strength up to 1300° F, corrosion resistance and good weld ability. It can achieve approximately 200, 000 psi tensile strength. This grade is hardenable by cold working and age hardening. It has high strength and corrosion resistant properties needed in the aggressive environments encountered in oil & natural gas production. This grade is hardenable by cold working and age hardening. Every type of metal that is used in industry has its own properties and is treated in varying ways to provide the appropriate amount of resilience needed for the processes in which it will be used. One of the types of metals often used in industry is the Inconel Alloy 718 Bar. This type of metal is a high-strength nickel alloy that can be specially ordered to stand up to extremely high temperatures, up to 1300 degrees Fahrenheit, while maintaining its ductility. Inconel Alloy 718 Bars is suitable for welding and other processes that require formability. Alloy 718 Nickel bar is a precipitation-hardening nickel-chromium alloy containing significant amounts of iron, columbium and molybdenum, along with lesser amounts of aluminum and titanium. Inconel Alloy 718 Bars maintain high strength and good ductility up to 1300°F (704°C). The Nickel Bar Alloy has relatively good weld ability, formability and excellent cryogenic properties compared to other precipitation hardening nickel alloys. The sluggish precipitation hardening response of this alloy allows it to be readily welded without hardening or cracking.

Titanium Grade 2 is available in Bar, Billet, Extrusion, Plate, Sheet, Strip, Wire, Pipe, Tube, Rings and Forgings.
Titanium Grades 1-4 are unalloyed and generally known as CP (Commercially Pure). The tensile and yield strength of titanium generally increases with the grade number. Titanium is 30% stronger than Steel but nearly 50% lighter and although Aluminium is lighter, Titanium is stronger and has excellent strength retention. Due to Titanium's weight, strength and high corrosion resistance it is very popular in various manufacturing industries from aerospace, medical, shipping, military etc.
