Targeted Action :This product is intended for use as attractant of tuta absoluta adult moths in Farms/ Open and protected cultivation of crops such as tomato and potato, in order to trap them for monitoring and mass trapping. This is found to reduce the intensity of pest incidence, leading to a reduction in crop damage thereby improving the yields / output quality.

Product Description :The Active Ingredient blend of 3E, 8Z, 11Z -Tetradecatrienyl Acetate & 3E, 8Z-Tetradecadienyl acetate is a potent attractant for males of tuta absoluta. This liquid formulation @ 0.5 to 0.8 mg is loaded in silicon rubber septa, which is kept in a sealed met pet pouch, which is placed in traps in the field.

Application Protocol :Place the Lure/Dispenser in the water trap or funnel / sleeve trap and place the trap at various locations in the field just above the canopy level of the crop. Recommended to use one lure of tuta absoluta per trap. One tuta absoluta lure would last up to 30-45 days depending upon climatic conditions. The trapping density should be adequate to manage pest infestation. The recommended trap density is 40-50 traps per hectare for mass trapping and 8-10 traps per hectare for monitoring.

Packing :Tuta absoluta lure is packed in a metalized triple layer pouch.

Storage and Disposal precautions :

• Store the dispenser away from sunlight in a dry and cool place.
• Do not open the pouch until just before placing it in the trap lure holder.
• The product expiry date is 2 years from production date under good storage conditions and without opening the sealed pouch.
