HARIKANT Make Single Girder Cranes are designed and manufactured in accordance with IS: 3177 and IS: 4137 considering adequate factor of safety with respect to appropriate duty. The Structure parts of the cranes are designed in accordance with IS: 807. Cranes are manufactured with standard components and controls to ensure reliability.
The Double Girder Cranes are generally used when heavy loads and wide spans are required. Double Girder Cranes consists of two torsion-free box Girders consists and load lifted by Crab which is running on the Top of two Girders. Platform with hand railing for easy, simple and safe maintenance of the crane extended partially or totally along the girder width.
Crane Girders are of plate box type / standard rolled steel / compound beams. All the main butt weld joints of the web are strong and rigid structure thus 100% reliability of welded joints is ensured. The material of conforms to IS: 2062-1992.
The motors are used specially crane duty (S4) Squirrel Cage & Slip Ring Motors suitable for frequent starting, reversing and braking in accordance with IS: 325. Motors are totally enclosed in dust proof & fan cooling (TEFC) construction, insulation class F, IP54 protection, foot / flange / face mounted.
Electromagnetic single dual AC disc type / electromagnetic shoe type / Electro Hydraulic Thruster brakes are provided in all three motions. These brakes are FAIL TO SAFE type means automatically release when the motor circuit it on and applied when motor circuit is off. DC brakes are also provided on request.
The entire gear boxes are made of accurate hob cut helical spur gears & pinions having hardness 250 to 300 BHN made from carbon-alloy steel. All gears & pinions running on antifriction type ball / roller bearings in totally enclosed oil bath giving constant splash lubrication. The helical / spur gear designed for adequate strength and optimum wear resistance for smooth operation and long life.
Long travel wheels are straight treaded double flanged forged steel wheels. Wheels are supported on antifriction ball or double row self aligned spherical roller bearings in special blocks of L type design for easy maintenance.

Modular Design ease to install and maintain, reliable operation, fuse less circuitry, ducted wiring and compact terminals. Motor overload protection to prevent overloading.
Safety limit switches for stoppers will be provided to prevent over traveling in all motions.
Two coats of primer before assembly and Two coats of synthetic enamel after testing.
HARIKANT Make Jib Crane for a lifting option of a smaller space. This crane is an excellent choice, as it is strong and versatile, robust and flexible. The tough construction of the Jib Boom ensures that it will not wear out. These cranes can be used for material and machinery loading unloading small assembly jobs, localized fitting etc. Pillar mounted Jib Cranes are designed to serve a 360 Degree arc. Boom Length: 2 mtrs. to 6 mtrs. S.W.L: 500 kgs. to 5, 000 kgs.
HARIKANT Make Goliath Cranes are adapted to applications where overhead runways would be not possible, costly to erect and difficult to maintain in alignment. Where the installation is only temporary a gantry crane can be moved to a new location with less trouble or expenses than an overhead crane and its runway. Also it is comparatively easy and inexpensive to extend the length of the runway and thus increases the working area of the crane. Most goliath crane installations are outdoor applications.
