Limit Switches

Siemens push buttons and indicator lights are characterized by a high degree of functionality and their modern, slim design. Another convincing feature: They are easy to assemble. The actuators, indicators, holders as well as switching and lighting components can be made secure and stable in rapid, one-man assembly.

These limit switches are actuated by straight edges, cams, stops or plates etc. and give control commands for the further progress of the switching program or of the manufacturing/processing sequence. For the various control applications there are 2 ranges available, namely open type and metal enclosed limit switches with 3 different versions of contact configuration.

There is a wide range of actuators suitable for different operations/ actuation conditions, enabling the user to select the most optimum one for the particular application. Electronic Timer

Whether on-delayed, off-delayed or timing relay for switching from star to wye-delta - with diverse designs, our broad range covers almost every application. All of our timing relays are especially compact and are available with removable terminal, screw connection or spring loaded technology. An additional advantage: Versions with wide-range voltage of AC/DC 24 to 240 V reduce the number of versions and thus warehousing. 3RP electronic timers are suitable for snap mounting onto 35 mm standard DIN rails. Accessory for mounting 3RP timers on base plate is available and can be ordered separately. Changing the time setting ranges and the functions will only be effective when carried out in de-energised (OFF) state. Start input B1 or B3 must only be triggered when the supply voltage is applied. With the two-voltage version, only one voltage range must be connected.

Whether as single devices, as modules for load feeders or for installation in low-voltage distribution boards/switchboards Siemens offers suitable contactors for every application as well as fully assembled contactor assemblies. What makes our SIRIUS devices unique: Their high contact reliability, extremely long service life and the possibility of using them even in the most extreme ambient conditions.A special highlight: Contactors in size S00, S0and S2 can be used to configurestar-delta (wye-delta) starters simply by plugging in function modules. These can also be equipped with an AS-i or IO-Link interface as an option, which significantly reduces the control circuit wiring.

Contactor relays are switching devices for control and auxiliary circuits and are used to control, provide signals and interlock switching devices and switchgear panels. It goes without saying that the 3RH2 SIRIUS contactor relays have connection designations in compliance with the standard and use a connection system which is both time and cost saving fulfilling the requirements from the field. The 3RH2 contactor relays and the size S00 motor contactors are the same size and have the same optical design; this represents a significant advantage, especially when it comes to accessories.

They are designed for AC or DC operation and are available with screw or spring-loaded technology. The basic version of the contactor relays has 4 poles but this can be extended up to 8 poles using auxiliary contact blocks which can be snapped-on.

Over Load Relay

SIRIUS overload relays with screw-type, spring-loaded or ring cable lug connections reliably protect loads as well as other switching and protective devices in the respective load feeder against overload, phase asymmetry and phase failure. Thanks to ATEX certification, they can be used in many different applications and are even suitable for protecting motors designed for use in explosive environments. The overload relays can easily be used with the contactors of the SIRIUS module kit.

For demanding applications, the modular variants of the 3RB22, 3RB23 or 3RB24 electronic overload relays even offer full motor protection using connected thermistors to sense the motor temperature, as well as comprehensive display and signaling functions, and a communication link using IO-Link.
