The Polymol SNF anionic surfactants are a series of sodium salts of alkyl naphthalene sulfonic acid formaldehyde condensate. These products provide excellent wetting, dispersing, hydrotroping and medium to low foaming. They offer acid and base stability, hard-water tolerance and high temperature stability. The SNF naphthalene sulfonate–formaldehyde condensates are used primarily as dispersants in a wide variety of industrial applications. As a low molecular weight dispersant with moderate levels of sodium sulfate; it is especially useful in dispersions having low solids content. Polymol SNF is readily soluble in water, glycerol, ethylene glycol and diethylene glycol and slightly soluble in most alcohols, but insoluble in most organic solvents. Polymol SMF Liquid is a very sensitive product. Therefore it must be stored in its original sealed packaging. If stored properly in its original sealed packaging the shelf life is at least 6 months.
