Our Power Distribution Transformer is used to provide final voltage transformation in the electric power distribution system. It settles down the voltage used in distribution line to the level which is used by the customers. If it is mounted on the utility pole it is known as pole mount transformer and if it is located at ground level or underground and mounted on create pad is known as pad mounted transformer. The Distribution Transformers are designed by using iron as they are operated for 24 hours. It carries maximum efficiency at lower loads which is about 60 or 70% of full or even less load. Further, the voltage regulation in these transformers is kept minimum for better efficiency.
