Rumble-strips are used to alert inattentive motorists of potential danger by causing sufficient vibrations, transmitted through the wheels into the car body and audible rumbling sound to alert the driver. In India rumble-strips are usually applied at poorly lit intersections as it is visible from a distance and as well as results to reduce speed of the vehicles. Due to their multiple uses these are often known as speed breakers.

Speed-breakers are made out of strong weather resistant hardened rubber or ABS plastic capable to withstand weight and impact of the vehicles. Glass reflective lenses or high intensity cube corner reflectors are provided for better visibility during night and wet weather conditions. Grooved surface provides anti-skid contact and better grip for two wheelers. As for their use these are also quite effective at security check points such as at defence areas, restricted areas, private complexes and entry-gates to residential or commercial establishments.

Road Berm Extreme End Indicator is a PATENTED (Patent Appl. No. 1540/DEL/2004, under Indian Patent Act: 1970) product which enhances the road extreme edge visibility in any adverse conditions. It not only has sturdy and robust design but also excellent reflectivity even on low beam head light. Road berm indicators are not subject to wear and tear as much as Cats-eyes and can withstand vandalism which makes them the optimum solution for night time visibility in retro-reflection.

Road berm indicators can be fixed to curb stone by grout, (design to grout provides easy fixing over the road-berm curb-stone). These are available in Uni/Dual/Tri directional in white/yellow/red high-intensity reflectors.

Solar Road Stud (SRS) is a self energizing road safety device which operates on solar energy and LED technology. SRS enhances lane visibility in any condition and also are noticeable from distance unlike reflective road studs which are only visible when a beam of light falls on their reflector. LEDs, solar cells, battery and light sensor are well protected and water resistant inside unbreakable polycarbonate top. System is work-able for 2-3 nights after fully charged in 8-10 hours.

Solar Delineators find their use same as reflective delineators but with better visibility in low light or no light. These often have multiple uses as can also be used at construction sites or hazardous areas. Light dome is well protected with wire mesh cage and the delineator can be made of steel tube (powder coated) of any required suitable height.

These are made of different materials depending upon the application. Though there are delineators made out of FRP (Fibre-Reinforced Polymer) but the most commonly used are a combination of CRC steel and ABS plastic with appropriate reflector. Cones and flexible dividers Portable Cones are made out of Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) polymer having anti-UV and fading resistant properties. These are provided with reflective band/bands for better visibility during night and are provided with top hook for plastic chain. Cones are also custom made in FRP (Fibre-Reinforced Polymer) for use at work sites and at check posts or temporary diversions. These can also be provided with hooks for chain links and are laminated with reflective sign or message as per requirement. Flexible Spring Posts are in fact delineators but with additional characteristic to restore its original shape soon after impact by any moving vehicle. These do not cause any damage to the vehicle hence are safer alternative for diversions or dedicated lanes. Also used in separating dedicated lanes is Lane Divider. Lane dividers are made out of engineering grade Elastic Repositionable EVA Plastic. This product is not as high as flexible spring post but has reflective flap and glass beaded or high intensity cube corner reflectors as the base unit.

Bollards are rigid posts that are mounted on small islands indicating the vehicular traffic to keep left. The body is either made conical in CRC sheet with a reflective diversion arrow disc on top or a single post frame with hazard sign plate and reflective diversion arrow disc on top.

Diversion Plates are fully reflective pedestal type diversion signs mounted on top of medium nose/roundabout circumference wall and at the end point of T Junctions. These are made out of aluminium sheet base and MS square pipe frame and legs provided with reflective sign. Sign can be made of engineering grade reflective sheet or high intensity grade reflective sheeting.
