We have with us a range of Redonion flakes/ kibbled, which is a dehydrated form of Redonions. The Redonion flakes are extensively used in preparations of various food items like vegetable mixes, sauces and soups.
Dehydrated white onions are a simple and easy way to add real onions to any dish without slicing, dicing and crying! These chopped pieces will release flavorslowly, adding a nice texture and flavorto soups and stews, or anything made in a slow cooker.
Dehydrating white onions by using a hydroscopic method removes the liquid but leaves behind the flavour. These can be reconstituted and then used as you would a fresh onion. To reconstitute, soak in water for fifteen to twenty minutes. Drain any excess liquid before use or save this liquid to add some extra flavour to soups, stocks, gravies or sauces.
