Rock Wool is a lightly resin bonded mattresses (LRB) that consists of fine fibers spun from selected rocks melted at high temperature and bonded with a thermosetting resin. The fibers used are machine laid, which are baked to form mattresses of predetermined density and thickness. The mattresses are then maid and stitched to specified dimensions. Rock Wool helps in providing ample insulation to any building. Our Rock Wool mattress has controlled thickness and density. Rock Wool fully conforms to national and international standards such as IS : 8183 – 1993, BS : 3958 Part – 3, ASTM : C592 – 80.
Specifications :
Loose Mineral Wool that we provide contains high temperature insulating fibers processed from natural rocks of selected quality. Our Loose Mineral Wool has exceptionally long fibers and extensively used for insulating equipment, pipelines, tanks, furnaces, ovens and buildings. Loose Mineral Wool is known for its superlative properties like non-corrosive, fire resistant, heat resistant, water repellent, incombustibility, non-settling, odorless and sound absorption. Our Loose Mineral Wool has uniform thickness and density as it is laminated G.I. wire nettings at both the sides. Loose Mineral Wool is used for insulating industrial environment, heat exchangers, hot and cold air ducts, large vessels, etc. We provide Loose Mineral Wool in HDPE bags of 40 kg each and mattress in HDPE Covers.
Glass Wool is used for insulation owing to its thermal and acoustic insulation properties, high tensile strength, light weight and exceptional resilience. Glass Wool that we offer essentially consists of fine, long, inorganic fibers that are bonded together by high temperature binder. These fibers (each of approx. 6 - 7 microns diameter) are distributed in such a way so as to trap millions of tiny pockets of air in the Glass Wool, thereby creating an excellent thermal and acoustic insulation properties. Glass Wool is light gold in color and owing to its superb tensile strength and resilience, it is considered ideal for applications in which there are chances of vibration, jolting or high compression. Our Glass Wool is chemically inert and has zero impurities like sulphur, iron shots, chloride, etc. Glass Wool is non-corrosive to metal and does not support mold grow.
