The co-rotating twin extruder is an intelligent tool for simulation of Industrial processes in labs and pilot plants. Multiple dies and additional tools enables a easy change over to multiple application.
For the mapping of wafers or for the automatic analysis of the surface free energy of flat samples such as paint test plates or optical lenses. The ETT/VAC can be equipped with any of a range of different top plates. The fixation of the samples on the top plates is achieved by the application of a vacuum, connected to the turn table.
The tilting base unit, TBU 90E, is an important instrument extension for the analysis of hydrophobic materials. It allows the measurement of the advancing and receding contact angle, the rolling angle and the contact angle hysteresis of sessile drops while maintaining a constant visual plane (optics / sample). In conjunction with the SCA software; it facilitates the fully automated execution of rolling angle experiments up to a tilt angle of 90and at freely adjustable tilt speed of 0.03 to 2.8 /s.
Dataphysics offer a wide range of temperature and environmental control systems that operate in conjunction with the OCA instruments and supportive software. These systems enable the measurement of surface and interfacial parameters across an incredibly diverse group of applications, at temperatures from -30 to 1800 C and from a high-vacuum to high-pressure atmosphere. Temperature, pressure, humidity, and other physical parameters can be developed, directly, by these OCA instrument accessories, or with the integration of additional hardware.
Liquid temperature control unit for measurement within the range - 10 to 130 C. Requires an external liquid circulator bath and includes the pipe work etc. to allow for a protective atmosphere (inert gas inlet) to surround the sample working area. The triple diffuser, TDI 100, is a recommended attachment for working temperatures below room temperature to prevent condensation by directing a dry gas flow towards the chamber windows.
An optional humidity sensor expands the applicability of the TFC 100 even further.
It is well known that the elongational flow behavior, which dominates many processing techniques, can not be determined from shear experiments. The patented Rheotens melt tensile testing technique has proven to be highly reproductable and sensitive and will differentiate even polymer melts showing differences in molecular structure, which cannot be detected with other analytical methods.
Glass cell (cuvette) made of special optical glass for measuring the interfacial tension between two fluids according to the Pendant Drop method or the contact angle of a fluid drop or a gas bubble in a fluid (e.g. Schultz method) ; up to 70 C.
Also available in 'high' temperature version (GC xxHT) and made of Quatrz glass (GC xxQ); 70 to 350 C.
Whether your application demands the evaluation of contact angle or drop shape, the video-based optical contact angle measuring system, OCA 15EC, is the instrument of choice where initial budgets are limited. The single direct dosing system, SD-DM, together with the electronic dosing unit, ES (both included within the 'system' configured, under the OCA 15EC part number) enable the precise and accurate handling and dosing of liquids.
The OCA 15EC can be easily broken down for transportation in the optional case, TBO.
The Blown Film Unit is a compact unit for blowing, cooling, take off and wind up of extruded hoses. It is suitable for production of small films used by the food industry and in the packaging field where the application of big production machines is often not profitable.
One of the most outstanding features of the MINI BYPASS RHEOGRAPH MBR is its compact size. With a width of approx. 150 mm this new system is one of the smallest on-line rheometers available. Even in tight space this new design can be installed without problems. The measuring head weight of only 30 kg eliminates costly mounting arrangements. A new die exchange system makes die changes quick and easy.
The Side Stream Rheometer is based on the first melt return online capillary rheometer developed by GTTFERT many years ago. The new SSR uses the same annular melt transfer line as the old (the advantage is that only one tap hole is needed, making installation simple) and no waste stream is generated because the tested material is returned.
The Melt Indexer MI-2. This unique melt indexer can carry out a single weight test according to ISO 1133 and ASTM D1238, procedures B, as well as ISO 1133 and ASTM D1238 Procedure C for the "Half Height / Half Diameter" standard.
