TheInsta360 ONE R 360 Editionis a modular action camera system featuring the Dual-Lens 360 Mod lens module, which captures up to 5.7K30 fps 360 videos and 6080 x 3040 photos. Images are stitched automatically in-camera in all cases except when shooting raw photos, which must be stitched using optional stitching software.

The 360 Mod and included Core and Battery Base modules assemble together into a complete system, with the 360 and Core modules mounted side by side. With this entire setup further installed in the supplied Mounting Bracket, also known as the frame, the system can be used underwater in depths down to 16'. (The system is waterproof only when installed in the frame.)

The Core module is the brain of the system and has a touchscreen live-view display, which is reversible so it can be used for selfie and vlog shots. When used with the 360 Mod, the Core's live screen can be swiped in all directions to display your shot from all angles and get a full 360 preview. Whereas many other 360 cameras only allow such previews in a mobile app, the ONE R system provides it in-camera as well as in the companion iOS/Android app.

The mobile app has universal functions and some that are specific only to a particular module. For the 360 Mod, functions include auto-editing, voice control subject tracking, and reframed hyperlapse.

The Core module also offers controls, status indicators, a microSD card slot for up to 256GB cards, and a USB Type-C interface that supports an optional ONE R 3.5mm Mic Adapter. The Battery Base has a built-in battery that provides approximately 70 minutes of runtime when using the 360 Mod, and it's rechargeable in about the same amount of time via a USB Type-C port.

The ONE R system also supports a dedicated Insta360 selfie stick, sold separately, without it showing up in your 360 shots. Additional features of the ONE R system include support for remote Bluetooth control from an Apple Watch or dedicated Insta360 GPS smart remote, both sold separately.

TheInsta360 ONE RUltimate is one of the key configurations of the modular ONE R action camera system. The Ultimate Edition includes the Core module, Large 1" Mod, Dual-Lens 360 Mod, and the necessary Battery Base that holds the modules together. The Core module, which is the brain, and any other module of your choice, mount side by side on the Battery Base. The different modules can be swapped in interchangeably next to the Core module.

The Battery Base has electronic contacts that connect two modules to work together as one. Also included is a mounting frame with a standard 3-prong action cam mount. The entire setup fits into the frame in a compact form. This way it can be attached to various support accessories, including dedicated ones that were designed specifically for this ONE R system. All the modules, including the Battery Base, are waterproof down to 16'. Additionally, optional dive cases are available should you want to go deeper in the water.

It's waterproof down to 16' without a housing required. Additionally, for deeper waters, an optional dive case is available specifically for when using this module in your ONE R setup.

TheONE R Invisible Selfie StickfromInsta360telescopically extends from a handgrip-size 6 to 27.5" in length. When used with the Insta360 ONE R 360 Mod, it's automatically removed from the image even when fully extended. Featuring a standard 1/4"-20 mounting screw, it also supports most other cameras similar in size to the ONE R. It's likewise removed from the image when used with the Insta360 ONE X, ONE, and EVO cameras.
The ONE R app is provided as a free download for iOS and Android. One of its key features is a set of intuitive auto-editing functions, including for 360 content.

With everything thus set up, all the modules function together as one unit. When they're assembled like this and installed in the Mounting Bracket, the whole setup becomes waterproof down to 16' without any waterproof housing required. (The different modules are waterproof only after being fully assembled on the Battery Base and installed in the included Mounting Bracket.) Alternatively, for deeper waters, an optional 98' dive case is available specifically for use with the 1" Edition.

The 1" Mod can be swapped out for other ONE R modules, sold separately, hence the modular aspect of the ONE R system, which ultimately allows you to approach different applications with one system.

The large sensor of the 1" Mod ensures highly increased low-light capability and better detail and color at all resolutions. The 1" Mod also has built-in FlowState image stabilization that uses a scene-detection algorithm to stabilize your shots. This feature works well even in low-light conditions thanks to the large sensor. The stabilization smooths out camera shake so your images come out more balanced and professional looking. Insta360 has teamed up with Leica in the optical design of this module.

The companion iOS/Android app used with the ONE R system has several creative functions that are specific to the 1" Mod. These include Starlapse mode, which automatically adjusts exposure settings to capture sweeping time-lapses of the night skies. Color Plus applies an automatic color grade to your footage, allowing you to turn standard videos into bright and colorful ones. Night Shot makes use of the 1" sensor to capture highly detailed low-light images. Other features include Slow-Mo (for 4K video and below), HDR Photo, and Voice Control.

The main feature of the Charge Case is that it's the way to connect the camera to your phone for auto-transfer of videos and photos. The Charge Case has both Lightning and micro-USB connectors for iOS and Android phones. The camera inserts into the case, and the case connects plug-and-play into your phone. It can even function as a tripod with its fold-out legs if you want to place the GO 2 on a surface. Via the micro-USB connector, you can also interface with Mac and Windows computers for file transfer.

TheONE X2isInsta360's pocket-size spherical VR solution with dual- and single-lens modes. In dual-lens mode, also called 360 Cam Mode, the camera uses both its front and rear lenses to capture immersive 360 5.7K resolution video with automatic internal stitching, and then using the companion iOS/Android app, you can navigate through the shot and select a specific angle and share it directly to social media. Single-lens mode turns this 360 camera into a standard camera that you can capture regular shots with. This mode, also called Steady Cam mode, uses FlowState Stabilization with an advanced scene-detection algorithm to digitally smooth out your shot so it looks more steady.
The ONE X2 is designed 33' waterproof as is, without any waterproof housing required, so you can take it underwater with you as well as use it in the rain. The Insta360 GO records video, audio, and photos to 8GB of internal storage and exports the content to your phone via a companion iOS/Android app. Standard video is exported in 1080p25 Full HD resolution; meanwhile, you can also choose one-tap time-lapse, hyperlapse, and other video modes. Video is captured with built-in Insta360 FlowState image stabilization, which uses an internal 6-axis gyro to smooth out your recordings.
