Universal Pipe Expansion Joint

The universal pipe expansion joint consists of two bellows separated by a pipe section or spool. The primary purpose of this arrangement is to have a unit which will accept large amounts of lateral deflection. The amount of lateral deflection they can accept is a function of the amount of angulation each bellows can absorb and the distance between the bellows. For a given bellows element, the amount of lateral deflection capability can be increased or decreased by simply changing the length of the center spool.Since deflections are usually the result of piping thermal expansion, and universal expansion joints are usually long, the thermal expansion of the entire unit's length is accepted as compression by the two bellows elements. In this way, the overall length of the unit does not change when the piping is heated.FeaturesAbsorbs large amounts of lateral deflection Unit length does not change with heat Eliminates pressure thrust load Tie rods not requiredInstalationThe necessary steps for installing all pipe expansion joints shall be pre-planned. The installers shall be made aware of these steps as well as the installation instructions furnished by the manufacturer. The most critical phases of the pipe expansion joint installation are as follows.Care shall be exercised to prevent any damage to the thin bellows section, such as dents, scores, arc strikes and weld spatter. No movement of the pipe expansion joint (compression, extension, offset, rotation and especially torsion) due to piping misalignment, for example, shall be imposed which has not been anticipated and designed into the movement capability of the pipe expansion joint. If such movements are imposed, they can result in system malfunction, damage to the bellows or other components in the system. Specifically, cycle life can be substantially reduced, forces imposed on adjacent equipment may exceed their design limits, internal sleeve clearances may be adversely affected

Clamp Type Flexible Rubber Expansion Joint

Our clamp type rubber joint also known as absorber, expansion joint, shock absorber, compensator, flexible joint and hose clamps, it use clamp instead of flange and bolt, install the pipe orifice on both sides of rubber joint to the connecting pipeline, then use clamp to fix connection between rubber joint and pipelines; just loosen the clamp when dismounting. In this way to compensate pipeline displacement which is caused by thermal expansion and water delivery. Clamp type rubber joint composed of inner rubber layer, fabrics enhancement layer and outer rubber layer, then by molding vulcanization and combine with clamp. Inner rubber directly bear abrasion and corrosion of medium delivered; outer rubber layer protect rubber joint from being damaged and corroded by external environmental; enhancement layer is the pressure-bearing layer, giving rubber joint strength and stiffness, the working pressure of rubber joint depends on material and structure of enhancement layer. General rubber joints inner and outer rubber layer use NR, SBR or BR; oil resistant rubber joint use NBR; acid-base resistant, high temperature resistant rubber joint use EPDM. For clamp materials, there has stainless steel and carbon steel, commonly we use stainless steel. Comparing to flange type rubber joint, clamp type rubber joint has following features: Clamp type rubber joint saved cost of flange and bolt, saved project expenses;Clamp type rubber joint has no need of upsiding down edges, which simplified production process, saved raw material;Clamp type rubber joint simplified installation and maintenance, promoted working efficiency;Clamp is made from stainless steel, which is anti corrosive. Diameter is from DN32 to DN1000, pressure grade is from 0.25mpa to 1.0mpa.

Rubber Expansion Joints

Rubber Expansion Joints are a flexible connector fabricated from natural or synthetic elastomers and fabrics with metallic reinforcements designed to provide stress relief in piping systems due to thermal changes. When flexibility for this movement cannot be designed into the piping system itself, an expansion joint is the ideal solution. Rubber expansion joints compensate for lateral, torsional and angular movements preventing damage and undue downtime of plant operations. The special construction of the rubber joints can solve problems like: Vibration, Noise, Shock, Corrosion, Abrasion Stresses, Load Stress, Equipment Movement Vibration, Pressure Pulsation and Movement in a Piping System

Glass Fibre Expansion Joints

Glass Fibre expansion joints are often used in ducts which carry hot gases at low pressures. The major design parameters are the temperatures and flow rates of the gases and the amount and abrasiveness of solids suspended in the gases. Layers of different fabrics insulation can be combined to accommodate the temperatures and pressure in the system. The fabric belt may need to be replaced periodically. Fabric Expansion Joints are non-metallic duct expansion joints that provide stress relief for piping and ducting systems by absorbing thermal growth and shock, isolating mechanical vibration, and allowing for misalignments.Fabric expansion joints are precision engineered specifically for your application. duct expansion joints are custom engineered to handle low pressure (3 psig) applications with temperatures ranging from -100F to more than 2000F.Service Features of Fabric Expansion Joints Absorb axial, transverse and torsional movementsCorrosion and chemical resistanceNegligible spring rates and loadsEasily repairable and installableHigh cycle lifeUnique application solutionsVibration dampening and sound attenuationMore movement in shorter face-to-faceLess force to flex than metal expansion jointsExcellent corrosion and chemical resistanceTemperature capability range (-110F to more than 2, 000F)Lower shipping and installation costsVariety of flexible belt materials available:Single-layer and composite beltsElastomers have excellent abrasion resistanceCustom designed for each specific application

Tie Rod Metallic Expansion Joints

We Offers All Types Of Tie Rod Metal Pipe Expansion Joints. Each Type Has Advantages And Limitations That Can Provide Flexibility, Load Reduction, Structural Integrity And Reliability Required In A Piping System. Metal Pipe Expansion Joints Can Withstand The Design Temperatures, Pressures, As Well As, Provide The Capacity Necessary To Absorb Thermal Growth Of The Piping System. The Thermal Movement Required Can Be Axial, Lateral Or Angular. In Some Cases, The Pressure Thrust Of A Pipe Expansion Joint Must Be Restrained By The Use Of Tie Rods, Hinges Or Gimbal While Allowing The Bellows To Move Through Its Design Deflections.A Tie Rod Is A Simple Pressure Thrust Restraint. It Will Allow Reasonable Lateral Movement But Not Axial Extension; It Can Allow Axial Compression If The Pressure Thrust Is Overcome By The Piping Movement. The Function Of Tie Rods Continuously Restrain The Full Pressure Thrust During Normal Operation While Permitting Only Lateral Deflection. Angular Rotation Can Be Accommodated Only If Two Tie Rods Are Used And Located 90 Degrees Opposed To The Direction Of Rotation.
