A metal plate on which a single gold leaf supported by an insulating bush in a metal case with a 4 mm socket earthing terminal. The front window is clear & the rear window is of ground glass mounted upon a bakelite base & two interchangeable electrodes are supplied. One being a traditional disc top plate 50 mm diameter, while the other is in the form of a metal hook 160 mm. Overall dimensions complete with insulating bush 112 x 63 x 143 mm.

A comprehensive kit of apparatus to enable students to investigate many aspects of electrostatic forces. The kit comprises of : 1 Electroscope, 1 Rubber (polishing cloth), 4 metalled polystyrene spheres, 1 plated wire hook, 1 reel nylon monofilament, 1 Electrophorous plate on insulating handle, 1 cellulose acetate strip, 1 polythene strip, 1 proof plane on insulating handle, 1 wire stirrup to support the above two items, 2 polythene tiles & 2 aluminium cans.
Wheatstone Bridge -2 gap type: Mounted on a polished wooden base, with 24 SWG Constantan wire, with brass strips & 4 mm socket terminals for use with either wire or standard 4 mm plugs for galvanometer & other connections. Boxwood scale graduated 0 – 100 cm x 1 mm. With knife edge jockey having terminal.
Consists of a cylindrical copper rod about 300 mm long & 25 mm diameter with its one end surrounded by a steam jacket for heating it from a boiler & the other end is kept cool by a system of water flowing through a spiral tube soldered to that end. Through two sockets, two thermometers are inserted in the rods for finding the temperature at two points. Two more thermometers are inserted in the other end which is kept cool by the stream of water. Through this apparatus, the difference of temperature between the inflowing & outflowing water is determined. Fitted in teak wood case, packed with felt with removable front; with thermometers.
