  • Head Assembly : Pump Head Assembly (above ground mechanism) consists of Head with Inspection cover, Third plate, Handle, Water chamber and Stand.
  • Cylinder Assembly : Cast Iron Body painted outside and lined from inside with seamless Brass liner of 63.5mm I.D., Gun-metal valve components and Nitrile rubber components. Discharge capacity is 15 liters @ 40 strokes per min.
  • Connecting Rod : 12mm diameter mild steel electro galvanized, in three meter lengths with hexagonal coupling at both the ends.
  • Riser Pipe (Drop Pipe) : 32mm N.B., G.I. Medium pipe in three meters length with a socket at one end.

    • Simple Installation of India Mark-II Handpump, when installed properly, gives very long uninterrupted service.

      • These pumps can be easily adapted for Shallow-Well, Windmill and Motorized operations with minor modifications.

Features Of Hand Pumps VLOM
  • VLOM Hand Pump has a mast of open P shaped that enables its easy servicing.
  • VLOM Hand Pump has Bore rods made of tubes with 219 mm in diameter and 12mm thread pitch.
  • This hand pump can be supplied with different types of Stands, i.e., with standard three legs, or with a square or circular flange to suit the users' requirements.
  • Cylinder is adaptable for use with Universal Cylinder components.
  • The Cylinder incorporates an open top cap and suitable plunger and check valve assemblies to facilitate their removal for maintenance without the need to lift the riser pipes out of the borewell. This makes maintenance easily possible by village women caretakers / mechanics.
  • Very easy to install up to depths of 30 m. Use of a tripod and chain pulley block is recommended beyond this depth.
  • The water tank assembly has the appropriate coupler to suit 65 mm or 50 mm NB GI riser pipes.
  • A special Cone Plate with rubber Cone is available for installation of PVC / HDPE riser pipes. The cone plate and cone can also be used to reduce stresses on the GI riser pipe joint to the Water Tank.
