Current Transformer   Gemini’s range of OIP Insulated Instrument Transformers use  Oil Impregnated Paper   Insulation and are designed for serving in Outdoor applications,   with several unique features with one aim –  TOTAL RELIABILITY.  Our present range of OIP Current Transformers  include CTs from 12 kV to 145 kV as per International Standards (IEC).     Design     Gemini’s OIP insulated outdoor products are subjected to extreme climatic conditions at Customer Sites and hence  Quality and Reliability  have been built into the Product, right from the design stage and are followed up through established  manufacturing processes, rigorous In-process Quality checks and the designs validated by exhaustive type testing  and  satisfactory field performance.   Gemini’s  design philosophy  aims at the following  aspects :   True Hermetic Sealing  ensures that the OIP Insulation retains the original properties even after several years of field operations; Our products are well engineered, our processes are well established. These factors ensure  high reliability  of our products whilst in service. Our  products are  truly  maintenance-free;  hence, only periodical cleaning of the products is required. Our products are designed to be  user-friendly  - right from unpacking, handling, erection, testing, commissioning and day to day operations in the field.  Safety has been built into our products.  Even in the unlikely event of an internal failure, the Instrument Transformer  DOES NOT SHATTER  or explode. A corrugated Stainless Steel Diaphragm has been provided, which, besides lending compensating volume for oil expansions during normal operations, acts as a proven pressure relief device, by peeling off from the tank from the weld    and  thus  averts any explosion of the porcelain insulator.

Indoor Applications   Gemini Instratech manufactures a wide range of CTs (Wound Primary / Bar Primary / Window) available from 3.6 kV to 36 kV. Current Transformers are cast using a liquid resin system with plasticizer processed under vacuum at controlled temperatures. All CTs have been type tested as per latest revision of IEC 60044-­‐1. A variety of different frames cover CTs with primary currents ranging from 5 Amperes to 5000 Amperes. CT designs are tailor-made to suit customer requirements for specific applications.     Product Features     Manufactured using high grade of Epoxy Resin System Suitable for temperature range -40° C to +80° C. High mechanical stability of the winding and high strength against impulse and surge voltages. high mechanical strength against the forces developed during dynamic currents.

Power Cabinet Choke's is manufactured for Windmill manufacturers et el Enercon India. Product Features:   Premium Electrical grade CRNGO is used in production. Dual Coat H-class Super enamelled copper conductors are used in the winding process. H-class NOMEX (NKN) paper is used for interlayer insulation in copper windings. Each choke is impregnated using a negative and positive pressure cycle, which reduces in-service noise and vibration. Coating application is of Elantas B-665 varnish inorder to prevent formation of moisture.

Pole shoe is a critical component used in windmill generators. Product Features:   Premium Electrical grade CRNGO is used in the production of pole bricks. TIG Welding is applied for fabrication of pole bricks. Pole bricks are coated using F-93 varnish to provide protection against oxidation. Dual Coat H-class Super enamelled copper conductors are used in the winding process. F-class NOMEX (NKN) paper is used for insulation.

OIP Insulated Condenser Bushings has highest Quality Condenser graded bushings which are offered from 52 kV up to 145 kV. OIP Insulated Condenser Bushings are supplied as per IEC standards.   OIP Insulated Condenser Bushings are critical components of a power transformer and it is imperative that the product performs flawlessly.   OIP Insulated Condenser Bushings are completely oil filled with stainless steel bellows for oil volume compensation making it hermetically sealed and reliable. Bushings could be supplied in 100 /300 /600 BCT for 800/1250/2000/3150 Ampere applications for heavily polluted atmosphere.  

Aluminium doors are used in the entrance system of windmill towers. Product Features:     The door uses a 3-point locking system for enhanced security.  Aluminium doors sturdiness is designed to withstand high air velocity areas and uses high quality stainless steel and aluminium components to prevent formation of oxidation. EPDM rubber profiles are used for sealing the door to the frame, resulting in a long service live. Unique design of Louvers permits external airflow and partially blocks the entry of dust particles.
