Coupling

We are leaders in the market for providing best range of Jaw Coupling, Resilient Coupling, Tyre Coupling, bush coupling and hrc coupling

Jaw Coupling

A jaw coupling is a type of general purpose power transmission coupling that also can be used in motion control (servo) applications, Jaw couplings are composed of three parts: two metallic hubs and an elastomer insert called an element, but commonly referred to as a "spider", The elastomer of the spider can be made in different materials and hardness, which allows the user to customize the coupling to best serve their application, Jaw couplings are considered "fail-safe" because, should the elastomer fail or wear away, the jaw coupling hub teeth will mate, much like teeth on two gears, and continue to transmit torque, Like other flexible couplings, jaw couplings are limited in the shaft misalignment that they can accommodate. Too much axial motion will cause the couplings to come apart, while too much angular or parallel misalignment will result in bearing loads that may lead to premature system wear or failure.

Resilient Coupling

Bibby (Resilient or Grid or Spring) couplings can be used for applications with powers varying from as low as 1 h.p to about 100, 000 h.p. per 100 rpm of the coupling. Correspondingly the couplings are available in varying sizes ranging from 100mm diameter to 4000mm diameter. Bibby couplings are capable of taking axial and radialmisalignments to a very small extent only. It is necessary for the user to ensure that both axial and radialmisalignments are kept to the minimum possible. All metal construction having no fast wearing out components, Accurately machined. Dynamic balancing is normally not required, Torsionally flexible.Progressive torsional flexibility (due to curved profile) provides protection against shock load, impact load and vibration, Heat treated spring steel grid absorbs high impact shocks without loss of energy, Transmits full torque with dampened vibration and reduce peak loads, When over load occurs, grid fails and prevents failure of the shaft or machinery part connected to the coupling, Extended life of parts of machines (Mechanical seal and Bearing etc.), Easy to install.

Tyre Coupling

Fenaflex Tyre Couplings are highly elastic, lubrication free couplings that tolerate large amounts of misalignment in all planes as well as offering simple installation and inspection without disrupting the drive. The Fenaflex coupling also has excellent shock absorbing properties while reducing vibration and torsional oscillations. The range includes couplings with torque unto 12606 Nm. and bore diameters unto 190 mm, Simple time saving installation - motor and machine remains undisturbed whilst tyre is changed, Large misalignment capability, 4 angular, up to 6mm parallel and 8mm axial., Internal load carrying cords are wound in both directions, so there is no problem on reversing drives, Tyres are available in standard and FRAS (Fire Resistant Anti Static) construction. ATEX approved, Because there are no moving parts, no lubrication is required. Simple visual inspection to aid maintenance, Taper Lock and pilot bore flanges., Pump spacer and flywheel fixing variants available.

Bush Coupling

This is modified form of the protected type flange coupling. This type of coupling has pins and it works with coupling bolts. The rubber or leather bushes are used over the pins. The coupling has two halves dissimilar in construction. The pins are rigidly fastened by nuts to one of the flange and kept loose on the other flange. This coupling is used to connect of shafts which having a small parallel misalignment, angular misalignment or axial misalignment. In this coupling the rubber bushing absorbs shocks and vibration during its operations. This type of coupling is mostly used to couple electric motors and machines, Permits drive in either direction, Lubrication not required, No Adjustment after fitting, Barrel shaped bushes ensure effective shocks and vibration absorption, Facility to dismantle machines simply by removing bolts and rubber bushes

Hrc Coupling

Permitting quick and easy installation by means of Taper Lock bushes, and offering quick alignment, the semi-elastic general purpose HRC coupling is ideal for use with electric motors. Because of their superior design of flexible element (concave shaped), HRC couplings can accommodate larger shafts, higher degree of misalignment & greater torque than Jaw Couplings.Offers the simplest, most straightforward fitting available, Simple time saving installation - motor and machine remains undisturbed whilst tyre is changed, Ease of alignment and fitting using straight edge and machined outside diameters, Fail-safe design due to interacting dog design, Accommodates incidental misalignment, Exceptional performance at low cost, Power ratings are matched to standard motor sizes, Standard and FRAS elements available, Flywheel fixing variant available, Pilot bore design also availableCoupling

Gear Coupling

Gear Couplings belong to the category of flexible couplings that are capable of transmitting very high torques. It is a mechanical device for transmitting torque between two shafts that are not collinear. Constructionally the gear coupling utilizes the advantages of gear engineering; practically the coupling is a complete gear assembly. The gear couplings consists of a forged sleeve with internal teeth cut on its inside. The forged sleeves are normally two halves possessing internal gears in both of them. In certain cases the forged sleeve tends to remain a single piece, Two hubs with external teeth containing the same number of teeth as in the internal gear is present with each one being mounted on the driven and driver shaft respectively. The tooth profile of the external teeth is normally crowned in order to take up more loads, The entire assembly in normally enclosed and is provided with gaskets at the joints and O-rings at vantage points in order to prevent the leakage of the lubricant filled inside the coupling, , Lubrication plugs are provided at vantage points in order to lubricate the couplings during predetermined intervals of time

Nylon Gear Coupling

  • Feature Molded nylon sleeve, No internal frictional loss or heat buildup, Minimum backlash, High ambient temperature allowed.
Nylon Gear Couplings are compact and require no lubrication. They operate over a wide temperature range at speeds up to 5, 000 RPM and are effectively used in applications such as motorgenerator sets, pump sets and many light to medium duty industrial coupling applications. No lubricants are ever required, eliminating the need for seals. The resilient nature of the Nylon material makes the contact of the hubs and sleeves almost frictionless. Not requiring lubrication readily permits the use of these couplings in vertical and blind assembly applications where the slip-together components offer easy inspection and adjustment. When completely assembled, the Nylon Gear coupling weighs very less compared to conventional couplings.
