Gas Sensor Transmitter

Acrolein is a clear, colorless, or yellow liquid with a pungent, suffocating odor. It is very flammable and may polymerize violently. Acrolein should be stored in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area in tightly sealed containers. It should be kept separated from alkaline materials such as caustics, ammonia, organic amines, or mineral acids, strong oxidizers, and oxygen. Acrolein is soluble in water, alcohol, ether, and acetone. The smell of burnt fat (as when cooking oil is heated to its smoke point) is caused by glycerol as the burning fat breaking down to acrolein.

XGST series acrolein gas sensor transmitter is highly robust, industrial grade, flameproof / explosion proof instrument for toxic level detection in ppm terms. It is fixed type instrument for online continuous monitoring in ambient or duct air. Due to its industry standard analog or digital output, it can be connected to any standard controller or SCADA system for monitoring and alarm purpose.

The detector can be installed at walls, surfaces or in ducts for monitoring in gas or air sample. It is ATEX EExd certified with SIL 2 safety integrity level for hazardous area installation Zone 1 and 2.

Acrolein gas sensor transmitter is based on highly reliable electro-chemical sensing technology for slightest detection. It has unique feature of auto diagnostic watch dog with zero point tracking feature. Due to its 10-bit microprocessor based control unit, it offer high accuracy over long term. Programmable Pressure Transmitter

Fischer ME50 is programmable pressure transmitter for liquid and gaseous media. It is equipped with:

  • Ceramic membrane / diaphragm measuring cell for measuring range upto 400 mbar
  • Front-flush piezoresistive element based measuring cell for measuring range above 400 mbarME50 can be configured or programmed to suit onsite conditions and media via either onboard display keypad or tool adaptor EU13. Working Principle:

    For ceramic diaphragm measuring cell (< 400 mbar):

    The measuring pressure is directly applied on the rugged ceramic diaphragm. This applied pressure cause distortion on measuring membrane. The change in capacitance due to pressure, is measured at the electrodes of the ceramic carrier and diaphragm.The electronics in the pressure transmitter housing convert the change in capacitance into standard electrical signals.

    For piezoresistive diaphragm measuring cell ( 400 mbar):

    The measured pressure acts on silicon diaphragm of a semi-conductor chip, causing it to distort. The specific resistance of the material changes in proportion of the level of distortion.

    The electronics module in the pressure transmitter convert the change in resistance into standard electrical signals.

    To optimise performance in line with prevailing process conditions, it is also possible to configure the pressure transmitter on-site via PC based programming adaptor EU13.

Electronic Temperature Transmitter

Working Principle:

Fischer TE01 uses Pt100 thermoresistance element for measuring media temperature of the process. Due to its high stability of material stainless steel 1.4571, it can be used for nearly all aggressive media.

Resistance values of measuring element Pt100 sensor changes with change in temperature. This change is converted, indicated and transmitted via internal electronic module of TE01.

Electronic transmission signals are available in form of 020mA or 420mA via 3-wire connections.

Working Principle:

The pressure is applied directly to a ceramic diaphragm, causing a deformation. Working Principle:

Fischer ME01 pressure sensor consists of ceramic measuring cell. The high durability of the ceramic material allows the pressure transmitter to be employed with aggressive media. A Wheatstones bridge is attached to diaphragms opposite side to the measured media.

As the measured pressure is applied, it causes the diaphragm to be strained. The resistance values of the Wheatstone bridge change according to applied pressure. These values are displayed and transmitted as electrical analog output signal.
