Suitable for homogenous mixing of dry powders of different bulk densities used in the Food, Mineral, Pharmaceutical, Paint & Chemical Industries. It is a simple versatile mixer which can also mix semi wet material. Ribbons of various designs are available to handle different materials. The mixer consists of a cylindrical shell inside which rotates a double helix shaft fitted with spiral inner and outer ribbons. During rotation of the shaft, the ribbons lift, convey and intermix the material to get a homogenous mass in short intervals. Discharge is from the bottom by a quick opening valve.

This is batch process machine for size reduction & dispensing of paints, inks, coatings etc. The mill consists of a grinding vessel inside which rotates a shaft fitted with impeller disc. The grinding media and the charged materials are filled into the vessel & the shaft is a run at a very high speed for a particular time till dispersions is achieved. Vessels with jacket arrangements are provided as a standard feature. 2 nos. variable speed dispersers are also provided for final dispersing and through mixing.
Batch Type Bead Mill has all contact parts made out of 304 quality Stainless steel. The cabinet is totally enclosed in a M.S. Frame giving steamline appearance and comprises of the following:

These mills are used for processing of inks, paints & coatings etc etc where a high level of size reduction & dispersing is required. Grinding & dispersing takes place in a pressurized chamber. A shaft fitted with wear resistant impeller discs agitates the grinding media. Particle size reduction in sub micron size is possible in a single pass. Mills are equipped with a cooling chamber as a standard feature.

Frigmaires Attritor is used for producing fine & homogenous dispersons quickly & repeatedly under controlled conditions. Used for the manufacture of ceramics , inks, paints, coatings, metal oxides, ferrites, chocolates, chemicals & pharmaceuticals. The Attritor is often referred to as a agitated ball mill. The material to be ground is charged into a vertical tank filled with grinding media. Both the material and grinding media are then agitated by a shaft with arms causing the media to exert shearing & impact forces on the material. This action produces an extremely fine material measured in microns. No pre mixing is required. All attritors are provided with cooling jackets. Recirculating facility is available as optional.

For mixing of foundry chemicals, pastes, moulding sand, foundry fluxes, food colours etc where an amount of binder or aggalomerate is to be blended into the material. Also used for densification of the mix. The pan is stationary inside which rotate heavy duty mullers / rollers. The heavy wide rollers ride over the material where intensive crushing, shearing and mixing action takes place. Scrappers and ploughs are provided for directing the mass into the path of the rollers.The machine is also available with granite rolls and pan.

Frigmaires variable speed disperser is a highly versatile machine for the production of paints, inks, coatings, construction chemicals etc . The main function of this machine is for breaking up of the aglomerates , wetting & dispersing of pigments in liquids. Due to the variable speed control the speed of the shaft can be varied at different stages of the mixing process thus saving power. Another advantage is in the hydraulic lifting and lowering arrangement wherein the height of the mixing shaft can be adjusted so as to obtain a uniform product circulation & perfect dispersion. A wide range of paints & inks can be produced on our dissolvers without the use of grinding media. Mixing vessels of different capacities with heating, cooling & vacuum arrangements are also available.

The colloid mill is useful for milling , dispersing, homogenizing and breaking down of agglomerates in the manufacture of food pastes, emulsions, coatings, ointments, creams, pulps, grease etc etc. The main function of the colloid mill is to ensure a breakdown of agglomerates or in the case of emulsions to produce droplets of fine size around 1 micron . The material to be processed is fed by gravity to the hopper or pumped so as to pass between the rotor & stator elements where it is subjected to high shearing & hydraulic forces. Material is discharged through a hopper whereby it can be recirculated for a second pass. For materials having higher solid & fibre contents conical grooved discs are preferred. Cooling & heating jacket arrangements are provided as a standard feature on both these mills.

Excellent for kneading and mixing of highly viscous materials like dough, putty, rubber solutions, adhesives, polymers etc. The mixing action is a combination of smearing, stretching, folding, dividing and recombining as the material is processed between the sigma blades and the container walls. Jacket arrangement is provided for heating or cooling application. In bigger models the container is tilted by a hydraulic cylinder to ensure complete discharge of mass.
