Blown Film Plant is one of the most common methods to make plastic films that is been used in the packaging industry. It involves a simple process as the molten polymer tube is been extruded and inflated several times in order to form a thin bubble. Further, this bubble is collapsed and used to make bags. The materials used with this process are polyethylene and other polymer materials. The blown film plant is further been categorized as monolayer film plant, three layer film plant (a-b-a), three layer film plant (a-b-c), two layer blown film plant.
There is a difference between these plants as monolayer thin film consists of one extruder whereas three-layer film plants (a-b-a) and three-layer film plant (a-b-c), two layer blown film plant consists of two and three extruders respectively

Advantage of A-B-A Die film plant over conventional two layer film plant:
1.In the A-B-A die with a new concept of die design, one can manufacture 3 layer film in a standard conventional 2 layer extrusion line.
2.Film quality is the best in its segment and has greater strength compared with 2 layers.
3.With A-B-A die, one can use filler material in middle layer without compromising on film quality.
