These conveyors feature an extremely sturdy belt made of adjoining platelets, not disimilar to the caterpillar-tracks of a tank. This provides an extremely strong and rigid carrying surface, suitable for heavy loads giving the machine many of the characteristics of a standard belt conveyor , but with the advantage of non-slip high-torque chain drive . These platelets also allow the conveyor to operate in extreme environmental conditions, such as very high or low temperatures that might destroy a conventional rubber or fabric belt. The Slat Conveyor Systems are used for general assembly production. The systems require no lubrication and very low maintenance. Slats are connected on two standards of chain by attachments. Horizontal Belt is ideally used to convey items with irregular bottom surfaces, small items that could fall between rollers or bags that may sag between rollers. Belt conveyors drive the belt, where roller conveyors drive the load, making belt conveyors easier on more fragile conveyed products.

Screw conveying systems consist of a helical flight fastened around a pipe or solid shaft, mounted within a tubular or U-shaped trough. As the screw rotates, material heaps up in front of the advancing flight and is pushed through the trough. Particles in the heap next to the flight surface are carried part way up the flight surface, and then flow down on the forward-moving side of the heap. These conveyors can handle a wide variety of solid particles ranging from lumps to powders.
