Ozone, when introduced into the atmosphere in low levels is an excellent air purifier. Ozone in itself is an unstable three-part molecule of oxygen. When an ozone molecule contacts a pollutant, it attaches itself to it and changes its molecular structure in most cases to carbon dioxide and hydrogen. By destroying viruses, bacteria and other microbial contaminants, the source of the odor is eliminated and the odor does not return. Ozone destroys the contaminant molecule; it does not mask it as other methods do. Ozone treats all of the air, not just the air that is pulled into it as do the vast majority of electronic filters that are on the market today. Ozone residual will revert back to pure oxygen, making it environmentally friendly.
Teflon tubes are used to pass the flow of ozone gas from the ozone generator to the mixing equipment such as diffusor or venturi injector. Teflon is an ozone compatible material and will not be corroded by ozone.
Destruction of unused ozone off gas is an important part any ozone process. Faraday catalytic Ozone Destructor is the most economical and efficient method for destroying unused ozone gas after the reaction process. Our Ozone Destruct unit is a durable 304 stainless chamber with 6mm fittings that easily attaches to an ozone contact tank, de-gas separator or other ozone contacting system to convert any unused ozone off-gas into oxygen before venting into the atmosphere.
Static mixers deliver a high level of mixing efficiency, therefore the consumption of dosed chemicals, gases and formation of byproducts can be dramatically reduced.
They eliminate the need for tanks, agitators, moving parts and direct motive power and they allows to gain highly efficient mixing with low energy consumption.
The energy required for mixing is efficiently extracted as pressure drop from the fluid flow through the elements. Mixers are invariably installed in existing systems without reducing the capacity of existing pumps.
The installation is very easy, no special skills are required other than normal engineering skills.
