A lightning Arrester is a metal rod or metallic object mounted on top of a building, electrical power systems and telecommunications systems electrically bonded using a wire or electrical conductor to interface with ground or earth through an electrode, engineered to protect the building and the electrical power system from the damaging effects of lightning strike. If lightning targets preferentially strike the rod and be conducted to ground through the wire, instead of passing through the building, where it could start a fire or cause electrocution. The typical lightning arrester has a high-voltage terminal and a ground terminal. A lighting arrester made from GI rod and copper bounded rod in form of single point and multipoints system.

Its specially designed by FAB to provide affordable high mast solution and maintenance of flood lights. FIE LADDER TYPE HIGH MAST SYSTEMS are available from 8m to 16m height.

Structure description :-

FIE LADDER TYPE HIGH MAST SYSTEM is designed based on swaged type tubular pole standards (IS 2713-1980) with inbuilt ladder on it for climbing purpose. There are two types of FIE LADDER TYPE HIGH MAST SYSTEMS AS FOLLOWS:Fixed ladder type with H-Bracket or Single/Double Ring Bracket (Suitable for 2 to 6 flood lights)Non-Fixed ladder type (climbing steps) with H-Bracket or Single/Double Ring Bracket (Suitable for 2 to 8 flood lights).

Literature :-

Versatility is the key factor in the design of certain types of street or highway illumination. The hinged pole is one such variety. FIE HINGED POLE is the first and only tubular type of hinged pole designed as per IS 2713-1980 swaged pole standards with a hinge unit incorporated with a stainless steel rotating pin and a rotating device welded to the upper portion of the pole. A blocking system with pulling rope is provided at the base of pole and a suitably designed lantern carriage for mounting of flood lighting luminaires is fixed at the top. Rotation of the top section occurs by gravity, compensated by the weight of luminaires, on one hand, and by the hinged balance device, on the other hand. The operator controls the movement by means of the rope.
