The primary is supplied by an Auto-Transformer driven by a servo-motor. The motor is driven by a solid state sensing and control circuit which senses output voltage. If the output voltage deviates from the set value, it activates the motor to be driven in the appropriate direction. The voltage induced from the variable Transformer adds or subtracts the voltage in the secondary of Buck-Boost transformer to give the original set voltage.
