Zed assessments focus on evaluating 50 parameters of an organization undergoing an assessment. It is a third stage assessment, after an unit has already undergone 1) self assessment and 2) desk top assessment. This 3rd stage is an onsite assessment where implementation status of all above 50 parameters are checked and verified by a team of assessors and a feedback report along with rating is given. Zed is government of india's flagship aspirational maturity model to help improve performance of indian msmes to produce defect-free product in a stringent environment friendly way (zero defect, zero effect) .
