When the motor is started, stator draws the high current which is 8-10 times that of the motor rated current. Before staringthe motor, it is necessary to reduce the voltage applied to the motor and to provide low voltage start to induction motors. Thisis achieved by using Star to Delta conversion.

Star/Delta starters are probably the most common reduced voltage starters in the 50Hz industrial motor world.

Star Delta starter generally comprises of contactors and an adjustable timer to enable starting of the induction motor instar mode and then switchover to delta mode after the preset time so decided by the timer.

Our LIDER STAR DELTA TIMER offers 2 selectable modes in STAR SET TIME range-Selectable by switch mode (0- 15 secs)or (0-60 secs) and then can be set through rotary switch.

Our LIDER STAR DELTA TIMER also offers Star to Delta Change Over PAUSE TIME of 40 ms or 100 ms by switch mode.

OPERATION FOR SOLAR PUMP:-

Priority-(Solar- Grid)

When solar energy is sufficient then water pump will operate at maximum rpm resulting maximum output through solar through MPPT & VFD.

When solar energy is weak then VFD is taking DC source from solar & balance AC from grid to operate the pump at maximum rpm to result maximum output.

*LIDER Water Overflow Timer can be set at predetermined time anywhere between 1-60 minutes.

*Calculate the time taken to completely fill the water in tank and set the LIDER Water Overflow Timer just ahead of the time taken to fill the water in tank so that water does not overflow from tank.

*For example if the water fills the tank in 25 minutes then set the LIDER Water Overflow Timer at approx 20 minutes which will switch OFF the pump set automatically thus preventing the water from overflowing from tank.

*Thus LIDER Water Overflow Timer switches OFF the motor pump AUTOMATICALLY as per set time.
