Valves & Valve Fittings

Our product range contains a wide range of Piston Valves, Inverted Bucket Steam Traps, Balanced Pressure Thermostatic Steam Traps, Inverted Bucket Steam Trap and Thermostatic Steam Traps

Piston Valves

  • Feature Efficient sealing arrangement, Easy replaceability of Disc Rings.
Principle ::

Our Piston Valves are available in a size range of 1/4" to 1.1/2" and with Screwed, Socket-Weldable or Flanged end connections. They are designed for long and trouble-free service with minimum maintenance.

::Salient Features ::
Efficient sealing arrangement
Escolyte on Stem and inside the Cylinder imparts surface hardness and excellent resistance against wear, erosion and corrosion.
Easy replaceability of Disc Rings.
Spring loaded U-shaped Teflon Piston Ring.
V-shaped gland packings of filled grade of Teflon for better wear resistance.
Gland packings are spring loaded and self-adjusting.
Completely enclosed Assembly to avoid dirt 'and scale entering into the sealing area.

Inverted Bucket Steam Traps

Principle ::
Inverted Bucket Steam Traps operate on difference in density between gas and liquid. Steam enters the inverted submerged bucket and it imparts buoyancy to the bucket, as a result of which, it is lifted and closes the discharge valve. When condensate enters the Trap and reaches a certain level, the weight of the bucket multiplied by leverage exceeds the differential pressure holding the valve to seat and bucket sinks and opens the valve to discharge condensate. Accumulated air, CO2 and other non-condensable gases are discharged first prior to condensate.
::Body Material ::
Cast Iron (ASTM A48 Cl 30)
Ductile Iron (DIN 1693 GGG 40)
Cast Steel (ASTM A216 Gr. WCB)
::End Connection ::
Screwed to BSP, BSPT, NPT
Flanged to ANSI, DIN, BS
Socket Weldable
::Options ::
Internal spring loaded Check Valve

Balanced Pressure Thermostatic Steam Traps

Principle ::
Balanced Pressure Thermostatic Steam Traps operate on difference in temperature between steam and condensate. The welded stainless steel Bellow (Element) is self-adjusting over its entire range of operating pressure. This element will discharge the condensate at approx 20 C or 10 C below steam saturation temperature depending upon the type of filling filled in the Element. The Element is also resistant to water-hammer.

Thermostatic Steam Traps

Principle ::
Ball Float & Thermostatic Steam Traps are mechanical Traps and operate on difference in desity between steam and codensate. Condensate entering the Trap causes the Ball Float to rise and lifts the valve thru leverage off the seat discharging condensate continuously at steam temperature. Air, CO2 and other non-condensable gases are released thru separate balanced pressure type Thermostatic Air Vent provided in the Trap.
