We design and install these systems as per customers' requirements. Encon - Westland is proud to be associated with Alberta Research Council (ARC), CANADA. They conducted waste incineration research in support of formulation and enforcement of regulatory standards, with emphasis on promoting complete combustion. It has the expertise in incinerator design and operations together we worked towards developing an appropriate technology to meet the criteria of simplicity in design, manufacture, operation and maintenance to reduce capital and operating costs, and robustness to process a wide variety of wastes and to consistently meet strict environmental standards. This partnership started in 2004 and has produced continuous improvements in the design and operation of the system, starting from a manually operated prototype that served as a basis for a simple yet effective control system to one that incorporates energy recovery and a "fine polishing" emission control system that ensures meeting the most stringent air emission standards.

We offer Encon Fuel Combustors (blower).ENCON Centrifugal Steel Plate Air Blower is designed to give optimum CFM volume and pressure of air with low power consumption. Although originally they are designed to supply air to Combustion systems, they can be used on any application requiring low pressure air. Each impeller is dynamically balanced before assembly. All blowers are equipped with TEFC, squirrel cage, Induction motors of reputed make such as NGEF, ABB, Crompton etc. Options of direct driveshaft driven through "V" Belts. Individual units undergo rigorous testing prior to shipment.

Iip-encon Film Burners

We offer Iip-encon Film Burners.The basic function of an oil burner is to produce and maintain required and consistent degree of atomisation to ensure stable flame conditions and required heat distribution in the furnace. Presently there are a large number of oil burners with different designs and types and selection has to be made to suit divergent requirements of industrial furnaces. As a consequence of survey carried out by different national agencies viz IOC, NPC, DGTD, it was observed that nearly 70% of Industrial Units use low air pressure atomising type burners. In view of the inherent limitations in the Lap Burners available in the market using almost 25-30% of excess air for proper atomisation and combustion, it was felt that there was considerable scope for improving the performance of existing Lap Burners by use of lower levels of excess air & wider turn down ratio. Thus an improved version was developed by IIP in association with PCRA after several years of sustained R & D work. These improved low excess air film burners developed by the above agencies give a fuel saving of 10-15% by using extra excess air below 10%.

Encon Grinding Machine

We have developed a semi-automatic grinding machine for dressing of alloy steel billetsingotsslabs before rolling operation. The machine has a very high productivity and also the grinding loss is not more than 2-3%. It increases productivity, reduces the material loss and also reduces the labour requirement in addition to improving working conditions for operators. We have supplied 8 such machines to number of reputed customers in India including Ms Jindal Strips Ltd, Hissar and Ms Mishra Dhatu Nigam Ltd., Hyderabad.

Encon Ladle Preheating System

In a typical heating application of ladles in steel plants ENCON film burners can save as much as 50-60% of fuel. The ladle heating time has been reduced substantially and a specific fuel consumption of about 3-3.5 liters per tonne of ladle capacity has been achieved.
