This is available in the form of Packet, Tablet, Capsule.The magnesium salt is a white slightly colored crystalline powder.It contains 3 moles of water of solvation and it is slightly soluble in water. Stability of esomeprazole magnesium is a function of pH; it quickly degrades in acidic media, Zollinger Ellison but it has stability under alkaline conditions. At pH 6.8, the magnesium salt is about 19 hours at 25C and 8 hours at 37C.
